I bought one about 3 months ago and i love it, but i'm still learning it. I have an X100 original that i love. But... i am a pocket guy and the grIIIx fits
I got the Rioch Griiix and can't use it in bright sunshine; I miss a viewfinder and just can't figure out the snap focus never works for me. Does anyone else feel this way about it? Also, image quality could be better.
Definitely in some bright sunlight situations it’s difficult to use. Thankfully I’ve gotten really comfortable shooting without a viewfinder and for my style of shooting it’s working really well. The snapfocus is still hit or miss for me on the X because 40mm focal length has way less forgiveness than the 28mm on the GRIII, I’ve gotten a bit better but definitely not perfect at it but just gotta keep practicing! Image quality I think it’s great for the work that I shoot on the street, especially for the size but it’s definitely not right for everyone!
@andygll38 Yeah it's still considered a small camera. I was exaggerating. I shouldn't say a huge bag. I should just say "a bag". The x100v *can* be used as an everyday carry but for me that would be too much. I have to carry around an epipen everyday and the Ricoh fits nicely in my fanny pack. I would not be able to fit the Fuji in there. Not comfortably at least.
