On some of them, transmissions those nubs you welded up take a metal cap for the disc to engage against and, if not smooth, can cause disc engagement and disengagement problems.
Excellent work. I didnt realize the generator was gear driven. Saves on belts for sure. If a guy was paying attention he might have noticed you're left handed. It's always interesting to watch someone work with the wrong hand lol.
I'm very confused about that dashboard. I believe the 1919 dashboard is straight and flat with a cutout in the center for the instrument cluster. But what is that huge cutout on the left side of your panel? At first I thought you were putting it in upside down but then realized that the 1919 panel did NOT have a cutout for the steering column. So what's that cutout for?
