Reaver has very good potential. Right now I'd say it's alright. Though, Cyber Light is another movement "shooter" (it's with swords) that had potential, I'm pretty sure you'd be the first to make a video on it if you did.
The issue is they’ve ripped off so much from Ultrakill that they don’t deserve money. They even copied the intro format with the big red words popping up on screen, the arm looks the same, the slide, the level transitions down long tunnels, the second weapon you get is a shotgun, the checkpoint icon looks the same, the boss health bar, the slow motion on the final shot once the encounter ends, the way blood streaks… It’s so shameless. They’re not even trying to be original.
Yo the main mechanic of the game is a b hop if you hold space and let go all keys you can start going really fast. You can still hold w to redirect yourself but you lose a little speed, its hella addicting seeing how fast you can zoom through stages

I personally find out that REAVER in its current state is better than ULTRAKILL in its *early* early access state. More fun, more aesthetic, banger OST. Just awesome. Also russian developers which I'm proud of.
