I think it's kind of sad that the bochurim are singing a song about taking solace with god, but they don't ask a simple question: why would a loving god allow them to suffer in the first place? I have lots of experience with this - I'm a former Ultra-Orthodox Jew, and constant pleading to Hashem doesn't work, because I see no evidence that a god exists in the first place. Anyway, it's still a pretty song!
Daniel T. Life isnt suppose to be sunshie and rainbows. Were in exhile now unfortuanly. God put us into this world to fullfill our task in life so we can move onto the world to come god willing after 120. The song in the beginning was saying they were struggling in whatever they were doing. They were told to speak to god. Like the lyrics “ i was told to speak to you hashem” who do u think “told them!” There rabbeim. There here to guide us. Were allowed to struggle. Nobody is perfect. Thats why were here in this world. ;) a couple lyrics later saying: “ now I’m walking down ur path even with the questions i have to ask.. “ later saying “ill reach out to you and take ur hand” not necessarily do we get our questions answered in this world bc sometimes we either don’t know why or not suppose to. God willing you should live happy and healthy till 120. I promise you ur questions will be answered if you the follow the path of hashem. He will TAKE YOUR HAND! Btw an interesting thing about your birthday. When the world was created everyone has there birthdays of when they were put into this world is bc god knew the world couldnt go on without you! Enjoy ur day ;) and yea this song is amazing! I listen to it a good 50 times a day!
