It's been 3 yrs since my brother took my nephew away to live with him and the boys mom. They "built" their family. I can't visit my nephew as much as I want because he live in another state,but I love him dearly. And he tells me every time that he misses us alot. But there's nothing I can do, he is now living with his biological parents and I could just pray for him that he'll be a good man someday.

I had my first daughter at 19, my parents were in Australia and I was in another country, I was so scared just coming out of high school and my daughter was born a day before my birthday. My parents heard from a family friend who had seen me when pregnant and told my parents. My parents didn’t react, they just hop on the plane and went straight to see me at the hospital. I count believe it, I was shocked they made it there to see my daughter and me. My daughters father bailed and I raised her, 17 years later, she is graduating high school this year and i have just graduated my Nursing degree. So yeah I know how scary it can be when you have no one there for that kind of support. I am now happily married for nine years now, a great husband he is and we have twins together. i wasnt pregnant as a teenager, though i was pregnant out of wedlock, meaning i wasnt married when i got pregnant... my grandfather had just passed away and i had just come out of a bad relationship... well i found out i was pregnant and my big worry was my family, i was barely 21, the little guys father had decided he didnt want to be a part of the kids life but wow did i have the backing of my mothers, my father, and my two sisters. this is why Reba's songs are amazing, they speak to everyone, weither it be a bad realtionship, having a parent or sibling for you in a bad time or just telling you you should be strong over anything.
I love Reba & her songs really touch people inside of them, their hearts & minds. This video should be shown in High School so that the teenagers know there will be some tough choices to make as they go through life. They'll have to make to right from wrong, there be some consequences of their actions. Sometimes will turn out fine. Plus even having a baby too soon, plus being afraid of being a parent & having the responsibility. Always remember that they will always know if they need help they can always reach out to their family for their help, support & their love.
Unfortunately, not all families believe they need to be there for their children through mistakes, and shun/outcast them for things done outside what the family thinks should be "the way things should go." When I chose to leave my abusive husband of 10 years to protect my daughters, my family actually sided with him because of his position in the community and the fact my mother couldn't deal with the stigma she herself placed on her daughter divorcing such an "important" man regardless of what he did to hurt me or my girls. Because of this, he got custody and I've been treated by the courts the same way they'd treat a drug addict/deadbeat mom, being granted only supervised visitations even though the only thing I did "wrong" was take my daughters to a friend's house with me because I knew my parents wouldn't keep me safe from my then-husband if I ran to them - they'd try to force us back together instead of supporting my decision and listening to my side of the story. I rarely drink (if a glass of wine once every few months counts as "drinking"), have never done any illegal drugs, and am allergic to cigarette smoke so never experimented in that way either, am the music director for our church, teach private piano and voice lessons... In short, I'm not a "bad mom" in any way - but because of the NON-support from my family, my AND my daughters' lives have suffered and will continue to suffer until time changes the courts' opinion of me. If anything, this video should be shown to teenagers WITH their parents so the parents may come to realize a little bit of the responsibility THEY have, and the influence they can have to help or HURT their children through their actions...
yes I know, having a baby & rising one is great but just there's a lot of young kids still to be awareness of having safe sex and the responsible of having a baby & see if they're ready to be parents and rising a life. I've have friends from H.S. that had babies early & some had problems rising a baby some didn't have the dad stick around to help or working, saving money and all. They did get help from their families, friends and support they needed of rising a baby.

Being a 16 year old parent, this made me cry. This song is just so amazing. And i more than likely am going to sing this for my audition for the voice. I am currently right now 18 weeks. And so excited to hold.my baby for the first time.
Both of my girls were 6lbs 9oz they were then now and forever my EVERYTHING! I did everything I could to show them right & they're both beautiful amazing & I love them everyday! I miss them too!!
I dedicated this song to my daughter when she was 6 days old. She was transported to a children's hospital when she was 3 days old for us to find out she had congenital heart disease (CHD) and a very small chance of making it at the time. I held on with everything I could to a very small piece of positivity that she would make it and be an amazing women someday. She's almost 4 now. A few heart caths and 2 open heart surgeries shes doing amazing and is a wonderful beautiful spirited little girl. Were looking at more open heart surgeries and caths for the remainder of her life. I used to sing this to her all the time when she was a baby. Here recently she started asking me to sing and this is the song she wants to hear. I love it! Jozlyn you are a beautiful girl with a beautiful broken heart. I love you baby girl more than you can ever imagine.... We will get through this together! Momma loves you!

And I don't understand why you left me. I'm so lost, Princess. I should be preparing that nursery for this April, when I would be bringing you home, precious. I can feel your skin on mine, some days. And when I awake, the first thing I look for is my belly. I touch it, and then my flat stomach reminds me of cold reality as my senses fully awaken. Mommy knows though, that perhaps I will see you again, when I am married and out of college unlike now. But right now Mommy's Mommy is caring for you, right? And Gracie, I learned a lot from her. amanda jones i know exactly how you feel i went through the exact same thing twice once when i was 17 when i was 5 months pregnant and then again at 21 when i was 4 months pregnant i know how hard it is but i also know you will get past it good luck you did the first step by giving your baby a name thats what my counselor told me to do with mine when it happened to me Good luck with everything in your life
i got one of the good ones i had my son at 18 and his father will be celebrating 20th wedding anniversary i was a senior in high school this song made me so grateful bless u single moms

I'm pregnant now and I'm so scared but I'm so grateful to have my amazing fiance here with to raise this baby with me. This song means so much to me, my best friend had a daughter from an unfortunate situation but her and I raised that child ourselves and we used to play this song to her. Now this song goes to my son or daughter. I'm so scared but excited at the same time cause this is my first child
I just want everyone to know this is for all 6 of my children. But my 2 daughters Diamond and Jade this is for you and it is how this mamma felt when we adopted you. I love u so much that I cry at night when u are sleeping and pray I am doing a good job as a mom. I love u more then u will ever know.
One day this will be me. I am the only female in my family that haven't had a child yet. I'm waiting or the right one to come along so I will be with someone to start a family. I'm sad but at the same time I'm happy I didn't have a baby yet It's too early and I have a whole future ahead of me. One day I'll make my mother a grandmother just like all her siblings one day but until then I am grateful to be alive.

I was 19 when I had my little boy. His father was abusive the whole time. Told me to abort him. We broke up and I moved in with my mom. She kicked me out and kept my son from me for over a year. I finally got him back and now every night, I sing this to him.
This made me cry at the end. I cried when they put my daughter in my arms. Her dad and I couldn't believe how beautiful she is. Made something breathtaking

A mother's love ( in my case, & my Daddy) never left me. I did not always make the correct choices, but I knew I was loved! I in The Lord Jesus' strength know He will be there forever. I believe Miss Reba knows this, I pray my children know forever that they can NEVER lose my love.
