She is bloody brilliant. And unlike a lot of artists, she's recording the tracks she should be recording, and they fit her voice. I don't think she'd have had this freedom if she'd won Xfactor...they'd have shoehorned her into some bubble-gum pop crap.

I remember seeing her on X-Factor a year ago or so on RU-vid, and I didn’t understand the fuss about her. After she released her album, Heaven, her talent shone through because those songs were much more suitable for her voice. I am definitely a fan of hers now.
Miss Ferguson: I have not followed your career closely. I only got to see your X Factor performances in retrospect via online videos. But I must say, whatever promise you showed on the X Factor pales in the face of what your music has become. I loved your voice from day one. But I'm particularly impressed with the songs (gorgeously arranged, btw) you and whoever you are writing with have produced. Few pop artists these days produce anything worth retaining and revisiting over time. You do.
Saw this on Allan Carr last night. Didn't get her when she was in the X-Factor, she occasioanally misp-pitches and she did last night too.. However, this is seriously exquisite song writing..and very different from the stuff I've heard her do before. It's nice to see both and Matt Cardle still doing well and if this is anything to go by she has a lot more to say..love it.
