why does she not just state the 36 reasons she has and presents them with argument? She keeps talking using big words but says nothing. disappointed. prefer much more Dawkins.
Tom Hunter Well - it is about "religiosity" vs "arguments" or "evidence" for the "existence" of a supreme being. Is what was born of human consciousness during the axial age to be explained away or embraced as something of persistent "wonderment" about "what is" and how what is continues to morph in wonderous ways. It's about something broader and perhaps deeper than human reason itself. It's more about the source and evolutionary context and function of reason than a product or reason per se. Some might say religiosity is a product of infinite semiosis vs some supreme or primordial being. It can be about that but need not be about one of many supreme beings. I hope this helps....
smarter people than she believe in G-d all the 'scientific evidence' is either theory or anecdotal and NO explanation goes far without some amazing design and intelligence going on.............the entire belief that the universe is rational and relies on laws is a proof of design!
