Watched a couple of recaps, and none reminded me of what happens as much as your take. Thank you and can go into part two, remembering what happened in the first.
I'm the "older" generation so this really helped! Fun, witty, well informed, precise recap with good comparison, movie references and a slight irony! Loved it! Adorkable!
Hey man, keep up the good work. There are very few channels producing videos in this format, and you're off to a great start by consistently delivering quality content. I particularly enjoy the ironic remarks inserted in the middle of the film descriptions. Many movies of this kind pique people's curiosity, yet they hesitate to watch due to the overwhelming amount of daily content. You could explore more movies like this.
I didn’t even realize all the correlations lol. Guess he really did want to make Star Wars… and every other sci fi film lol. Super helpful recap at the same time !
I actually really enjoyed this movie !! Such a great addition to the star wars films lol anyways part 2 came out so I had to recap part 1. Hopefully it's a decent movie. I give the movie a 7/10 rating as u mentioned it's a copy cat story line and lacks character development but overall I thought the actors did a good job. I just enjoy these fantasy type of movies so therefore is why I enjoyed it. I watched the 1st 15 mins of part 2 and decided to do a recap because I couldn't really get into it.
My husband and I thought we were getting a simple recap. Took us 30min to get through it bc we were laughing so hard. I'm crying. You're hilarious! Excellent delivery! We're subscribed!
@@fastfanrecaps6992 Can't wait for more. Seriously, my husband and I were crying we were laughing so hard. "And no it's not a lightsaber. Do you know how many lawyers Disney has." 😂 We're both sci-fi nerds, so we got all the references. However, we attempted to watch Red Moon: Part 2 right after. Gave up after 15-20 minutes because it really was derivative and dumb. We just didn't notice it in Part 1. So you sort of ruined Part 2 for us but it was totally worth it. 30 minutes of belly laughing is awesome. 😂 Can't wait to see what you do on the next one. 😃
Good video. All the exposition that you criticize would have made for very boring and tedious screen-time, which is the cringe about the starwars series nowadays imo. This is a modernized take on space-themes that perhaps starwars started but have become pretty common in mainstream "space movies" (e.g. rebellions, planet-destroying weapons, light/fancy weaponry). If your only critique is that Star Wars nerds don't like it, then I'd say that's a plus for most people lollll. Really enjoyed this video, love a critical perspective. Thanks for sharing.
I liked what I saw on screen but I’m a HUGE Snyder fan and I was surprised and disappointed how it lacked character development. If that is all or fixed ( don’t need a ton of each character , there’s two parts , as long as it flows) in the director’s cut and look back and not care but the business of streaming is strange. Bad reviews ( some too biased with the “ cult” stuff ) and meh fan reaction (no idea how legit this is . ) can’t help. RU-vidrs are getting a ton of clicks bashing the movie . So they’re doing well but so is Netflix , strangely enough. This is huge for them. It’s already a success by Netflix standards and will only get watched more after part2 comes out.
Look, with all do respect to your emerging fandom, this movie has major issues. It's ok to leave breadcrumbs and foreshadow future films but the current project needs to be able to hold it's own wieght and Rebel Moon just doesn't do that. It's style over substance, trying to make an entire plot just unanswered mysteries, and a BLATANT Star Wars rip off. I can see this franchise having future potential but it's off to a very rough start. But hey, so was Stargate and they got a collective 16 seasons out of that.
This movie has some of the worst dialogue ever written. Snyder is a fantastic director with a keen eye for visual detail, but he needs to stick to directing other people's scripts and be kept far, far away from the editing room.
