My rebel has been going strong for 8 monthd now. I just bought a gamma x ergo yesterday and decided to experiment and put the slim deep tooth with fusion blade on the x ergo and the slim blade taper blade on the rebel and holy shit it turned those x ergos into MONSTERS. And the rebels with the taper blade is a little smoother and softer cutting. Really glad i spent the money on the x ergo. Only thing i dont like is the lids. Im in the process of custom painting the two spare lids since after barbering painting is my main thing
Lovely video, is the difference between the blades noticeable or are they the same thing with different names, also how do I go about getting my hands on the rebels in the uk?
Hi mate I don’t really notice that much of a difference to be honest.. the fade blade has a smooth surface and the Fusion is a hybrid of the Taper blade and fade so it has the grooves on. The Rebels will be available in September on gamma uk website. What’s the difference between the deep tooth blade and shallow tooth blade? Will I need to buy the faper blade and the cutting blade or just the faper to put on the booster? Thanks mate
The deep tooth cutting blade handles bulk better than the shallow tooth blade. But I’m not 100% sure if the boosted comes with the Faper now. If it doesn’t then yeah you just need the Faper blade..
Hey ! Today I‘ve received my Gamma boosted and I am very surprised because the clipper has the fusion Blade !! 👌🏼👌🏼 Is there any difference between the gamma faper blade and the stylecraft faper blade ? Greetings from germany
Sorry bud, not sure either clippers come with a spare blade. Looking at various unboxings. The Rebel comes with the faper blade and the boosted with the fade blade?
@@Andrew-cn6rc yeah I do and it’s a lot more forgiving with having the grooves I personally don’t like the fade blade. Taper or faper all day for me. Where are you based mate?
@@RustyBlades I'm based in London. I've been using the magic clip with the fade blade it comes with for years. But recently noticed lots of the young barbers are using jrl or Gamma.

Subscribed, loved the good vibes. have been cutting my own hair for a while with the wahl super taper, was looking at cordless options im glad I found these options before going with another wahl clipper, do you think the wahl guards would work with these clippers? Thank you

You could reach out to Gamma UK and see what they say… but the StyleCraft Rebel is the same but has an extra 1hr run time and comes with the slim deep tooth cutting blade and the fusion blade.

Yeah it is louder by a few DBs I’ve asked my clients if it’s an uncomfortable sound level everyone of them has said no it’s ok 👌🏼… I never really get too caught up in the noise of a clipper lol
