The fact they wanna change the name over something so stupid. If people wanna cry over the name then I'm sure Bush gardens has some nice kiddy rides for the big babies.
For sure! My dad helped name this coaster when he worked at Kings Dominion back in the 70’s. The reason for its original name was because Richmond was the capital of the Confederacy and the ride made you yell. Had Nothing to do with race. He loved everyone he met. Shame how we have to change the name of an iconic coaster so as not to offend anyone. When the name was changed I know my dad was rolling in his grave. I went to Kings Dominion today and still found myself calling it the Rebel Yell. It was ALWAYS be the Rebel Yell to me. Also my son calls it the Rebel Yell ❤️
