That's because actual parents view themselves as such and are far less tolerant to nonsense. The blonde's mother wasn't interested in being a good mom, didn't care about her daughter, and was pretty much a selfish woman; her father was no better and it made her bitter and angry. It's great the brunette's sister stood by her and her father came through at the end. They actually loved her

If you get a 2lb box from See's or other chocolate or candy shop, they typically have a deeper box for two levels of candies. So, it's possible the candy shop in the movie had wider, longer boxes instead of higher boxes for more than 1lb. And, if you're a guy dating someone who lives in a women's hotel, sorority house, or had siblings at home, it would be typical to give her a large box to share with everyone. My mother and sisters used to share the boxes of chocolate they got as gifts with the family. I think that accounts for it. Ay, thank you for bringing it up again. haha

Actually, yes, but those were amazing, too. People took pride in the way they looked, especially in public. Now? Not so much. Now, it's about comfort, not style. Face it, in comparison, the millennium is the age of slobs. haha

From Now On You're Going to be Mrs. Jimmy Adams, and NO Backtalk!!!! RFLOL Fathers, please take note of what these ladies are saying about neglect and by you not listening to their thoughts, feelings, and needs to live more freely, because this is exactly what happens, they go out looking for too much excitement and for the love they feel they are NOT getting at home. I did exactly the same thing when I was young. So husbands, and fathers, please take this information seriously because it applies even more so in today's world where there are so many more dangerous distractions and attractions to fill those voids.

It's so funny that even though their playing teenagers, they look like 30! Those hairdos age them

They are probably in their 20s. All these old films, the teens look and are much older. I liked the fashion back then, but the hairstyles not so much ( and they looked like a lot of work, back then many went to the “beauty parlor” every week, ugh)

That's because, back then, people were adults at 16, 18, and 20. They had to be. The childhood years a person has in contemporary times is much, much longer with fewer expectations on them. A lot of people don't reach adulthood in the same way until late their 20s and 30s, sometimes in their 40s. The fashion reflects this individually and societally
