He's like the Deep State, or the Australian Shadow Government - which officially exists. It's true that he does enjoy testing his strength against strong opponents, but that's more about furthering his rise to power & fame more than it is about the actual fighting. Why do you think he's currently fighting in a tournament under an assumed name with a face mask on? Or why he was dreaming about being on the edge of losing said tournament, then got stuck on what he'd say just before his "big comeback?" He's a nutcase, for sure, but not in the same way Black Summoner or this chick are. Basically, he's a cross between Batman & Raj Al Ghoul. (Whose name I don't remember how to ACTUALLY spell, so I'm doing it phonetically.) In other words, Derek Wayne - the newest Robin. Or, to put it another way, he's something like what would happen if Clark Kent was Batman instead of Superman: mild-mannered mob character so completely different from his super-persona nobody would ever suspect the two were one & the same. Meanwhile, Black Summoner & this one are more like Prince Vegeta from Dragon Ball Z - pre-Majin Buu, or Kenpachi Zaraki from Bleach. Interested in combat for combat's sake. Nothing more, nothing less. Even Fran from "Reincarnated as a Sword" is less about the combat & more about getting stronger so she can become the first Black Cat to evolve, & that's largely because it was her parent's wish they didn't live long enough to fulfill so she took up their mantle.

I actually describe Inglis as taking Mile from Didn't I Say to Make My Abilities Average, and giving her Kelvin's personality. And it would be up to everyone else in their respective groups to stop them before the landscape got to the point the maps would have to be redrawn.

Reincarnation stories are common with fantasy/isekai genre and among those, M>F reincarnation are fairly common. There are a whole bunch of them if you count ones that haven't been adapted to anime.

Yea i think we just see some litle surprises like enemies does little trick and she wins at last time somehow or she knows everything and we see that she trying to win without showing off or to sus kinda predictable (btw i haven't watched it yet)

Interesting. I hadn’t seen it before, but I think it might be for a *ahem* companion of the night. There are instances of vase being connected to concubines in Chinese Literature. Also, in English Restoration Comedies, china/porcelain was used as a metaphor the act. That last one is a bit of a jump, but there is a parallel there. Might be totally wrong open this, but it fits with the fathers reaction and the fact that it’s an old man’s soul in a young girl.

@@DraGanix33 I mean, that is essentially "from birth". I have seen some where they literally show it the moment "coming out of the legs" as it were, but it's not necessary IMHO. The baby only looks a few months old and was named Inglis, so clearly it wasn't meant for the MC to have hijacked some other soul.

@@DraGanix33 Other than internal monologue implying they aren't interested in boys bc of their past life, and unhealthy obsession with honing their skills and hoping circumstances let them fight strong people, it doesn't appear to come up at all. MC enjoys dressing nicely, has good court manners, speaks in a neutral feminine style, doesn't leer or find it uncomfortable being in the bath, etc. Honestly, it's about what I would expect from anyone in a similar situation: That's your life now and any novelty to it would wear off very quickly, and most people enjoy dressing in a pleasing way and being complimented, etc.
