Six recent WyoTech grads invade the HorsePower shop to rebuild a U.S. Army soldier's 1982 Camaro. They build a new motor, rebuild the trans and upgrade the suspension and brakes before surprising the owner when the work is done.
Man that was really cool that Summit, Wyotech, and Power Nation came together to make this happen for a Vet much respect to all. I already buy my parts form Summit but yeah they defiantly have my business for life!
Outstanding! Good to see a brother in arms and fellow 101st screaming eagle getting it done for them. If I would have known i could have gotten a badass car rebuild for serving my country i would have stayed in! Lol! Keep ur brothers safe and watch ur 6 over there and come back home safe so u can roll that sweet ride brother! That dif cover is freakin badass!!!🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
Awesome job guys!!! Kyle's going to enjoy that Camaro for a long time! Camaro's all ways been my favorite car, 69'Z28 302ci. Awesome story guys!!!!!!!!!!!!
The grads are now Awesome Automotive Tech’s by showing what they have learned! Hats off to their instructors and the school itself! Class Act for sure! A big shoutout to all of these guys!
A 91 RS Camaro was my first car at age 16. I wanted to go to WYO tech when I was 18 but I didn’t I picked another career choice. It’s still fun to watch these old shows.
This show actually aired a long time ago and i wonder how the boy is doing and how the car is. Yea i called him a boy cuz he is to damn young to lose his life and i hope to all heaven he didn't. God bless the military men and women.
I know we are calling this a 1982 car….but it had a 91 or 92 rear spoiler, 87 to 90 16” wheels and 700R transmission came with 87 or later 5.7? Just wondering
Yep. My berlinetta has a different front end on it. This car, to be an 82, has been modified. The engine shown, being pulled, had the centered valve cover bolts. The 82 had the bolts on on the perimeter, originally.
Your right. First thing I noticed. It has post '85 nose. I bought a brand new 1985 IROC-Z that color. One year only. Electric blue. This thing has a wing from the later '90s 3rd gen. Might be an '82 under all that. But later model stuff bolted on. Apparently, they never managed to find a Z-28 hood.
@@jakewashere2.016 no but it's democrats that are burning flags, burning cities down, looting and rioting. it's democrats that are crying defund the police, military, fire dept and ems. it's democrats that want to take away your free speech, guns and other rights. it's democrats that want a communist take over of America.
You gotta stop watching the news so much man. Sad that you watch a video about paying back military members and building cars and all you have to say is some political garbage
The guy asking about big wheels on a lowrider, my Question...Why do people call wheels rims? It's a pet peeve of mine wheels have different components such as, the Hub, spokes and the rim is where the tire mounts to the wheel but why do they call the whole thing a rim? It's called a wheel.
Luckiest dude ever. I’m happy for him and jealous at the same time. How th did they get 383 horses outta that 305! I got like 120 in mine. 😭 😂 Ls swap in future 😂
They changed the crank, rods, pistons to make it a 350 cu inch……and then new performance heads and manifold Then add a more power full cam and roller lifters……383 HP at 5200RPM was easy Rear wheel HP is prob about 300 HP
It’s too bad our military doesn’t fight for our freedom though. I absolutely respect the soldiers but not the people that send the soldiers out to die for oil
