Exactly! I'm watching too see how others manage crashes like mine?here's a challenge for you, I built my airplanes while 3 yrs+ blinded from eye surgeries. PS first time I flew in real airplane, it crashed on landing. Dad cut me free from seatbelts while hanging upside down!
Dad was underwater demolition team UDT, trained killer but I never knew any of that. Dad an mom (while pregnant with me) were hit head on by loaded full log truck an pushed by truck over cliff. Shocked that anyone lived I was born with in hours. Too early for full eye development. So 3 eye surgeries an blind an year after each. After work dad would check my glue push pins on pad an set me up for tomorrow's build. So I build some nice .049 airplane kits all while blind! It's an experience worth doing! I built model kits of spitfire, big nosed US helicopter, an others. If I could ever see again? Hanging models an planes were first thing I wanted too see when bandages removed! Well except mom an dad!
currently working on a part 2. lts a slow process to be honest. I use different types of glue, there are very good Videos to this here on RU-vid. Best of luck with your plane, you'll get it done 🫠
Did anything more happen with this? I'm working on exactly the same model, although mine wasn't nearly as badly damaged. Just like you i stripped the covering and i'm in the process of applying glass fibre to get a sprayed finish.
Hey Marc, I'm currently working on another Modell. This project has some big steps coming to it, also planning-like you- to get a fiber finish! hope by summer it will be done. got a "spare" pc21 to get the measurements right. stay tuned
@@nunukula Yeah likewise i'm hoping to get it back in the air for the summer. I was flying mine on a windy day, landed it, then the wind picked it up and dropped it on it's nose while i was walking out to get it! Good luck with the rebuild.
