we got this 2016 Jeep Wrangler Sport at the auction for super cheap with only 41k miles on it!! cosmetically its perfect, however we dig into the nitty gritty on this one to remove any water and all water damaged electrical components. Lets hope all the work pays off!!

Kudos to you and a lot, lot, lot work ahead on all those flooded electronics. Arizona is the state to be with low to no humidity to dry that thing out.

Nice work and a top quality informal video. i am thinking of purchasing a flooded Jeep wrangler too. But afraid will not find the parts if they need to be replaced where I am at.

Really appreciate the information you put out in rebuilding this particular Jeep. I I feel a little bit overwhelmed my son died two years ago and he had a jeep the irony is that the jeep got flooded in the IDA storm when I took it to get fixed.

What did it takw to rebuild it? I had my jeep flooded it was inrhat river for almost a week insurance took it but im scared if they can cover it or not 😭

You bet! Hopefully it’s been helpful for you. Best thing I always do is always check off the preventative maintenance things first, they do all of the extreme things after. A lot of times these jobs are a process of elimination. Make sure all of your T’s are crossed and all of your I’s are dotted

That would be ideal. All I have is the written evidence and obviously the physical evidence when I pick up the vehicle. Even the map lights and dome light overhead had water in them still when I picked it up. So it was completely submerged.

My jeep is a flood jeep 2008 unlimited and my husband keeps telling me to trade it in im like helll no transmittion and engine are still good just the bottom we had to change all 4 muffles the fan relay gasket coil springs starter spark plug alternater and so far the jeep is oky now but he still want to trade it in and i only paid $8000 flate for it 4 doors
