More OEM Yamaha Parts are flowing in, as we put this machine back together piece by piece! New wheels and brackets along with that Quick shifter procedure and we are one step closer to a first ride! Thanks for watching!
Hello, I love your videos, I follow them all, you are a persevering person and that is excellent. I want to mention something in case you are interested, when you mount the tire, the red dot on it goes over the air valve, this is so that there is a better weight balance. Greetings
Fella that red dot on tyre is meant to be inline with the air valve !! So it's easy to balance tyre then as that's the balance point . Love the vids by the way and keep em coming 👍🏻
Love the videos CJ, been watching for a few years now! Quick tip: When mounting tires, the location of the red dot shows the lightest point of the tire and should be lined up with the valve stem in the rim during mounting (which is typically the heaviest point of the rim). This will save you on balance weights when balancing the wheel.
incredible video bro, you gave me so much inspiration and motivation that I ended up buying a 2008 zx10r to restore in the garage hahaha thanks and continue the amazing work, from portugal
Hello, I send you greetings from Portugal and congratulations on your content, it's amazing! I would also like to start doing some maintenance on my motorcycle, but I don't know where to find the right screw clamps. Where do you find this information? Big hug!
The red dot on the tire is marking the heaviest point of the tire, you’re supposed to put the tire valve opposite to the dot. That way balancing the wheel is easier or even not necessary.
Hi Cj, do you ever check the wheel Alignment is Ok, as the bikes that you repair that have had front fork damage could have twisted steering head out of alignment
Do you change the wheel bearings on the used wheels you buy off Ebay and such? Just wondering as I have watch most of your posts and don't recall wheel bearing being installed..... Keep up the great work!
A question I've always had about tires: shouldn't that red dot on the tire (3:09) be aligned with the valve stem? I see a lot of vehicles with that red dot on the tires and I can't imagine any other purpose for it than to indicate the position of the valve stem. But it's just a question, a big hug from Itapetininga-SP, Brazil! 🙌
I have placed a big order with evolution bike and am just waiting for them to make the parts at the factory and send them to me 😁 it’s been a couple months since I placed the order . Some parts I ordered last year July and still no eta 🙃
