Finally got the svj kit test fitted and it is looking amazing! We are super happy with how things are lining up. Cant wait to show you guys whats next! Thanks for watching!!!
Even though they did clean the engine compartment in a previous episode, they should maybe take a few things off in the front of the engine compartment to get rid of some dirt and put it back when it’s cleaned up. u know what I mean?
The reason it's giving you guys a hard time lining up those quarter panels is because Lamborghini from the factory uses shims to align everything. Try using some shims see how that. Love the content guys keep it up!!
@@AdamSmith-kb7kt roof there going to have to I'm sure there not going to pay to have it shipped back to California to have it fixed again that be dumb.
For what it’s worth, I was inspired by y’all to buy my own truck from the auction and fix it up. It’s a regular 2017 Ram 2500 4x4. That’s what attracted me to your channel. You guys did regular builds that are not out of my reach. I hope you do more normal builds like that. Like the bronco. Just normal cars.
Yeah, that's a good idea, heat it up to match up the bent brackets. I would just screw it down and add a few extra cranks with the breaker bar. I think you should open a new body shop you could call it " Gooder Dudes Body shop". Don't worry about that smoke its fine.
Nothing short of a miracle that you could straighten it out. Wow. Keep going you can do it. Rooting for you to see an amazing result soon. Crazy cool stuff.
Great to see mom back in the video with her great cuisine....great content as usual.... great progress on the SVJ build.... watching from Ndola Zambia 🇿🇲🇿🇲🇿🇲
Ugh your so right it's not even funny lol I got a 04 350z 2jz turbo build. It's finally done I finished over winter time. Anything that is custom in most ways are a pain. I bought a real jdm wide body kit and my God that was a SOB
I’m hooked on the Goon Squad for some reason. I really get a kick out of their father hanging with them and helping out. The boys will look exactly like their father, except taller, one day. Keep it up Goon Squad!
Good job guys...i have always been an OG here since day one. I would suggest that you guys get a right angle L alluminium/metal to that bent alluminium u just welded, and weld it behind it or bolt it behind for more strength to it. It will be stronger if you do that and not replace it. Enjoying the builds. Have a good one 👍
It's great to see how your parents have adapted to life in the camera lens . That shows how much they support your success . You guys are so blessed in that way !
Great job guys, love how things worked out for you this time with better parts. Keep up the great work. You guys can build anything. Enjoying the videos.
It'll be too low to turn onto Any of their driveways when they add more to the front.Just wait.I'm Not 'hating'.I'm reminding them and you of a few other 'rebuilds' that scrape everywhere as they're too low,and all the expensive 'eye candy' gets broken.
Hey Pops, Always makes my day when you are helping your sons. You are a quiet guy but that is okay. Sure miss Mom around dropping off meals and hanging out. It was easy when they had the shop by the house.
It was a rollover, these boys didn’t put any care into checking cleaning, flushing the engine. They straight “send” it right after turning it on. It’s a real fire hazard I’m surprised it hasn’t blown up in their face.
I love watching u guys bring cars back to life. I see your pops puttin in work it would be amzing for u guys to build your pop's his dream car. Not only would that be epic content thats a memory your pops will cherish forever
Boys.....I love the content!! Hey it's pretty obvious looking at that fitment that either the right rear frame rail is low, or more likely that inner structure you were welding on is still low. Looking at all the panel gaps and thinking about it, it's pretty obvious that's the issue not your body kit. That's one of the rare kits I've seen with very very nice fitment.
Another fantastic rebuild from the goonzsqaud happy to enjoy every single episode with these two great guys enjoy what u love nobody else can change the way u take ur time to put ur cars back together
If you shim up the back corner of the quarter panel it looks like it would shift the bottom up to match the rear bumper and may fit up to the wing better.
@@Eternallyrix doesn't matter, those are two quarter panels from two completely different cars that aren't theirs. Lamborghinis are notorious for having shims, even Ferraris have them. Because they're "hand built."
Another great video. Look after your hearing fellows. With decades as a carpenter using power tools and also riding motorcycles I have Tinnitus. Its No fun. Loud is not always good. Take care. Jeff from Sydney Australia.
if the passenger quarter panel was adjusted to be higher in the rear it should help align the bumper gap as well as the rear deck gap, both of those are off in the same direction
every gap on the back right would get fixed if it were adjusted. i dont think the math was wrong when the roof was fixed, and the gap there is likely a product of whatever frame issue is causing the rest of it.
@@melonheadorion6083 rest of the gaps are lined up lol.if they raise the back up it would really make the gaps on the bumper and the rest messed up lol.
@@jerrywilcox9890 the bumper itself, on the right, you can see that it needs to go up.the top of that is the only part that touches, and then the further down you go, there is a gap. that alone tells me that it needs to go up. the reason why the top part of that panel line touches, while the bottom of it has a gap, is because it is pushed down. also, the trunk lid itself, you can see that the gap on the left is perfect, but the further to the right you go, there is a gap. that also would tell you that it needs to go up. all of the gap problems on the right side are originating from the same issue, wherever that might be. i dont think that the body mans math is off that much. i would trust the body mans math more than the framework that they did. if you think its off that much, then you would be adding material to the roof so that you dont have to find out where the actual issue is, and just ignoring whatever the problem is. also, its not coincidence that the side with the most damage has alignment issues. that just in itself, tells me that there is something not right with the frame. if you saw the previous video of them straightening parts out, you cannot possibly believe that it was done properly to remove any possible gaps.
X brace on the right looks like it is sloped. I think it deffo needs more frame work lads I can't see the roof being an issue since he took a mould from an OEM SV the lad that done the repair has obviously done it a load of times before personally don't think the roof is the issue
Yes, something is still wrong on rear end frame. I hope they will replace and make it oem specs, because tweaked frame will have huge impact on driving dynamics. And also Russian bodywork is half-done always, need to be done certified and knowing body guy.
@LaitinenVeeti I believe the dude that done the carbon work is certified for carbon fibre can't remember his name but he is deffo known but I agree they should get that on the frame machine and do some measurements call in Vtuned
Very nice dishing the carbon fiber repair guy. Guarantee it’s your work not the carbon fiber guy that’s wrong. Dang u guys are so ungrateful some times.
@@frankensteincamaroRight?! my husband and I were so shocked that they called that guy out on their RU-vid channel! It’s definitely not the boys that have absolutely no experience with frame work or repairing carbon fiber…They made a major faux pas.
Dear Bros, Love to see how you’re dealing with the refit of the wrecked Lamborghini Aventador SV so I’m sure when the refit will be completely ready she’ll look absolutely insane. Look forward to your next vlog and send you love from the Netherlands
Seems kind of insane to just assume that your engine smoking is just from residue on a car this expensive after a major crash. Would definitely take the time to try to clean that area up real good and then run it and see if it's leaking, otherwise you might do all this work and then set your car on fire.
It's still so funny to me how many people tell them "you should do this, you should do that" they're millionaires that do this for a living the last 5+ years. Homies... I think they got it lol
@@stevel.6046 It doesn’t hurt to receive second-hand opinions from fans or people that could potentially help them out on something that they weren’t aware of
Im guessin the non-fitment is from that mangled tubular cage that was in the engine compartment as well as some other stuff in the back but yall will figure it out.I dunno about SVJ on a SV kinda calling a mule a horse but its looks cool gonna be fitment not originally for that car so there will be issues but yall will figure it out!
