I love the wire wheel on my grinder, it get's lots of work. When I'm bore or stressed but, nothing to tackle in the shop, I'll grab a few hand fulls of old nasty nuts & bolts and clean them up after which , into the BBQ to 500F and a dip into a can of Dino motor oil and presto, hot blue finish and ready for application when I need it! Fun stuff and I feel better! Or could it be the two or three beers I consumed - dunno, don't care! 😎

Love the series mate I’m a mechanic and I love anything mechanical and steam related that blue paint looks like same blue paint that was all over your lathe threads and spindle if I’m not mistaken lol wasn’t the same bloke who sprayed that was it lol all the best god bless

I was going to build a type of lathe head with spindles and bearings from a small truck struts....people said the bearings had too much slop....BALONEY...it would have worked fine.

Amazing work, never seen this in a 300zx, even the car deserves it. Going same route with bearings, would you recommend to polish the rear and front wheel hubs instead of going new? You worked them and they are equal to new after that job. Thanks.
