As a physician treating cancer patients for over a decade and a minor in psychology, I would highly recommend develop and practice some of these techniques/ skills before hitting the rock bottom. Wait until the rock bottom to learn these things is similar to fighting a war while building your weapons. Best of luck to all those who are struggling in life. Keep fighting! I am at month 5 of separation and we are in the thick of it right now in terms of sorting everything out. Sometimes it feels like you will never be out the other side and that life is kicking you while you are down. Thank you for this video Erica I will definitely be putting some of this into practice.

Prayer and simple fun are essential to do focus on always and especially during divorcee. I am an overcomer and blessed I raised my special needs on my own and loved my life and more excited now for the future! Life is a gift.
Hi, I got divorce in Oct of 2022 after 25yrs of marriage and three kids. My ex does not pay child support but I am lucky to have my kids with me. It was a big and difficult change but I’m finally over it and finding myself again. I PCS'ed with my husband from Colorado to Virginia. Our daughter was 9 months old when we left. My husband is a drill sergeant and I have been unemployed for the longest amount of time in my adult life (7 months). I start work tomorrow at a job that pays almost half of what I was making in Colorado. I'm really struggling.

I keep hearing me me me. That you deserve love essentially because you are a woman. Yeah it doesn't work that way. You cannot expect to be in a relationship with a man who want to be with you if you keep asking for what you want than what he wants too. Just saying.
