Rebuilt/Restored 1917 Holt 45 Tractor

he never put enough throttle on the climb. while at the top it probably would have started on the roll down had he been more familiar. watching the shift shows it to be difficult. it may be if it has a high range transmission, that it would need high to turn the engine over on the roll. a beautiful machine, well done on the reassembly.

Must have been a lot of hours invested in the restoration , and likely a number of parts NOS or machined from scratch . Well done . It would be interesting to see a follow up .

Beautiful restored but still some work to be done on the engine set up. Timing and mixture require a little more time spent on them.

Blows my mind that the engine running on two cylinders instead of four is not tweaked. Maybe a valve sticking also seems to be showing its ugly head also.

That is a James Bond tractor, it comes with an ejector seat. :) lol

Barely running and the guy operating it has no clue what the controls do.

Yea anything but perfect notice the valve hanging up on the exhaust engine sounds terrible

Looks nice, runs like crap.

Not much power for a tractor. Can't even pull itself up an incline. Must have been worthless in the field.
