The rec random algorithm for me is wild. If I’m on my guard build, I get matched with bigs that play like point guards, and if I play on my center build I get matched with guards that have negative ball iq and love to move into the paint
i got a 2 guard usually get put at the 3 in rec and man the sht i be seein from the guards and the big men be preposterous. u got the center cherry picking instead of tryna get a board n thn the point guard thinkin he prime lebron rim runnin every damn play😂😂😂

I had a stretch last year and randoms thought that was free range for them to jack up dunks/layups also positions 1-3 do not pass to 4-5 they just don’t

i mainly play center especially a stretch. glass cleaning 3 level threat. i feel this pain lmao and glad you see it as a guard now. i have to fight for my life to get a bucket because i never get looked at when open. 50 IQ PGs out here bro
Worst thing 2k did this year was to penalize ppl with the bans for quitting, its like 2k forces you to play with toxic imbeciles or else you get penalized. And i get it: "if you don't want to play with randoms play with your 5" cool but life happens and your 5 are not always available so if you want to play 2k solo rec is the only option and it has become so unplayable. I think it got more toxic when 2k made 100K pts a requirement to hit legend cus that year ppl started passing less and less cus they all wanted to hit legend since hitting legend was so easy the year before by just hitting lvl 40.
It’s kids like this that wonder why they are holding the L after the game. I had a pg yesterday with 1 assist. lol. If I ever see a 3pt Shot Hunter it’s an automatic back out and refusal to play with those dudes. They need help
I love it when I have a big that can shoot on my team. Them bigs always be watching the paint when I drive. R1 + L2 everytime, easy 3. You gone bring your big stanky behind out of that paint eventually when them 3s start adding up.
i got a 3 way shot creator and i will go full quarters with out touching the ball and sometimes i’ll score like 10 and then i can’t get the ball anymore
F###. That suits annoying. I'm a 65% three point shooter. They see the stats before the game. But, I only see the ball when they can't get their own shof. I don't understand. When I'm on point. All I do is try to get my shooters open shots. Rec random point guards just don't get it. I really regret every time I enter a rec locker room. All shooting bigs know the pain you're speaking about. Smh
Also... the A.I. always gets loaded in as the 4, or 5.. the A.i. is stuck on you like glue. 2k, needs to fix how often instead of loading in another player. They just load an Ai. Before we even leave the locker room
I really want to know the logic that goes through dudes heads when they see two or more people in the paint and think yeah perfect time to do a layup/dunk?
They need to get rid of this gold tier stuff. Crazy if you make a new build, you back to casual and then people assume you suck (when 98% of the time, they are the ones that actually suck)
Bruh the matchmaking blows. I also feel like I’ve been getting the ball less as a big. I’m 70% from the field and 57% from 3. But guys with 35% taking all the 3’s 🙃

I play PG on the rec randoms and I'm averaging 10 APG and 5 PPG because I trust my teammates... Now these guys don't know how to play a team sport game
I’m have a stretch center build and my teammates be actin like I’m Prime ShaQ from the three point line on a good day when I average %55 from three and it should be higher because the only time they pass is when there is half a second left and not when I’m wide open 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡
the funny thing is most bigs on this game are TRASH people dont realise how lucky they are to actually have a big that can shoot the lights out I shoot 76% from three on my 6'9 center and there are games I literally dont even get a shot up until the third quarter and it's always the WORST shooters that they pass to why are the bums the go-to for every offence when im wide open
