Thank you for this summary! I wasn't able to read the book due to all the cursing. I can skip smut, but it's hard to get through nasty words. I was able to get through the first 3 books, barely the 3rd one. I read a summary for the 4th. I still wanted to know how it ends. All the long summarizes I found on yt were also crass. I really appreciate that you have keep it clean in your review.
I think Rhys knows what will happen if they break the bond. I'm salty because to me, any man who refers to a woman as "the third" instead of her (he doesn't ever say her name) doesn't deserve her. But at the end of the day I believe Elaine is based on folklore just like every other character. That character is a goddess who was magically bonded to another man for marriage. She wasn't in love with him but he was in love with her. She decided after she met another man who she fell in love with that she wanted to break that Bond and they both find a way to do so. The spell ends up rebounding and she ends up an owl. Let's hope that that doesn't happen. 😅
I live for your recaps!! Interesting theory about Elaine and Tamlin...I'd be there for that:) Even though Tamlin was a douche, he kinda redeemed himself to me and I want him to have a HEA! And poor Lucien.... give him someone who loves what a sweetheart he is!!

Another amazing review....I’m in the minority though, even though she did grow on me a bit, I just never really enjoyed Nesta as a character... cassian on the other hand.... I could read about him all day long! Thanks again 😃
Thank you Kelly!! I totally get it, I did not like Nesta before this book, I thought she was abusive and mean, but this book made me love her. Agreed!!! I could read three more Cas books. 😂
