Recapping my 2023 No-Buy, and What I'm Not Buying in 2024! 

I really enjoyed this thanks. I've been a sub for years but haven't stopped by in a while. My tip for supplements is to put them with your toothbrush (habit stacking) to help you remember. For me it's clothes, decks and sometimes books but I've got this so much more under control in the last few years thankfully. Good luck for this year x

Although, I did not set anything in stone last year or write anything down (probably should have) I kind of did this last year after looking at my "stuff." I felt that I needed to scale down the things I was purchasing, mostly hobby purchases, like decks, candles, art supplies, books, etc. Things sitting on shelves being unused or unread, not ok for me. I felt guilty many times. I told myself on more than one occasion "shop from your own stash" you don't need another book with 10 already unread, or more candles when you have a whole collection still unburned --etc. Most times I did come back to realization I did not need to buy another new item, BUT I still did purchase some new things. Mostly books, I have a real problem with books. I am currently holding myself back from purchasing a handful. I recently went to my shelf and pulled a book in a series. I purchased all the books a couple years ago, I went to a UK book seller and purchased them for their covers, US editions were not as attractive, and yet here they have sat unread. I am ashamed to admit this. I am halfway through the first one and enjoying it. I am excited to continue on. Your list I could have written myself, so many things I am in agreement with. And yes, also card decks. Last year I did very well. I only purchased two decks last year. I looked at my shelf and saw them spilling over and thought, no. Use what you have, shop your own stash. Fandom merch is something that I definitely need to put a cap on for myself. Along with being a witch, I am a huge nerd with a very, very girly sense of style yet I purchase T-shirts and hoodies for said fandoms because I love to represent them. I'll find joy in my new clothing for a short while but then I'll stop liking it as much because, well, girly girl here. My two exceptions have been this stained-glass t-shirt with my favorite video game companion on it - that's gorgeous - and this soft pink hoodie with an iconic logo from the anime I love, interwoven with some cherry blossom imagery. I'm fairly decent at not purchasing frivolous things until it's something nerdy. Then I sort of fall off the wagon. I really need to just channel my love of said fandoms into my witchcraft practice and continue creating fanart/fanfiction. 😅

I am having a book buying ban this year. I was thinking of getting Pagan and Witchcraft books, but there's too many free resources online to justify it. I'm a bookworm, so I'm very, very guilty of overbuying books. I also have a KU.

Fantastic video! I really got sucked into the phone games and somehow spent thousands....I know....The only way I could quit was to completely delete the game. For me it was scratching the gambling part of my brain. It was basically fancy gambling.. I'm thankful I've been free from that for a month now.
