Hello my lovelies! My name is Isca, and I'm a mom of three, fur-mama to three cats and a dog. I'm a witch, and druid, an avid gardener and a prolific reader, and I'm the author of My Name is The Morrigan, My Name is Brigid, and Warrior Queen. My channel is mainly about tarot, witchcraft and paganism, but I delve into personal development and other related topics too!
Thank you so much for this video! I am a teen witch and it's been tough, so this video gave me some hope!! Do you have any tips for practicing in college? In the dorms, you are not allowed to burn things, and I don't want my roommate to get suspicious of anything I do. Also, how can you find like-minded people who are also witches after I move out in college?
Thank you so much for the video… it has actually inspired me to purchase some of the de la and review them on my channel as well. Thanxxxxx. I will keep watching!
Best tarot video ever! Thank you for sharing. I totally agree on all points. I see that the video is plder and I hope you will make an updated one to! Would love to hear.
Thank you so much for this! Lately there is more beginner books than advanced books out there which I have nothing against beginner books of course but be nice to find a book that is quite leveling up from the novice level.
Please dont get down on "white and western" so quickly and carelessly. I was married to a muslim from uzbekistan and had to escape due to the severity of the abuse. Since I was young when we met I didn't know the extent to which female degradation is ingrained in his society. They are primitive, not west and are not white, yet definitely NOT more spiritual or wise. Honestly we have a lot of hidden treasures here in the west that are homegrown, and a spiritual depth that many cultures including non western ones just do not have. And some of the things that seem to be lost or disconnected are actually very real and palpable, if you find yourself in a situation like me where you face the fact that you might not ever return to the west again.
Totally get what you’re saying about personal healing as opposed to community healing. Nevertheless, if one is healing oneself by practicing Shamanic ways, conversing with spirit animals, one is Shamanizing. You have to heal yourself before you can heal others afterall. If the term “Shamanism” was coined by Anthropologists, then it’s a valid term for actual Shamans within any community imo. Tbh, even if it hadn’t been coined by Anthropologists, it’s still a word that people recognise. Personally speaking, I’ve had a calling all my life, but have been distracted to the extreme until recent times. Otherworld is there for everyone to discover if they feel that calling.
I've had a chance to do some spinning over the last couple of days and am continuing to love it. I even tried chain-plying on a small amount of leftover singles and it didn't find it too difficult, even though my resulting yarn is very twisted and looks terrible, LOL. Don't be scared---I'm sure you'll be a pro in no time. ❤
Thank you for this video! It is actually refreshing to have someone mentionning that you won't always find the information you are looking for in the "new Age" section. When I started my spiritual journey, I bought a few books and quickly realized that it was almost the always the same few topics, lightly covered so I stopped buying them. I started buying more books about philosophy and even psychology (methapysical stuff) to better comprehend how the mind works and it makes it easier for shadow work and all that stuff. Plus, everytime an author mention another book that they really loved, I search it and most of the time they are great! Also, the book you recommended is about 30$ CAD, it's not that much. Especially if you consider that you'll spend hours reading it. What activity can you do today for many hours, for less than 30$... not that much! ahah
📚 I have been wondering about this for years. I can't really pinpoint what is and isn't advanced, the only thing I can think of are hierarchical covens where you do have advancements of knowledge. On the capitalizing off of the craft, I can't lie but whenever I do see someone wearing something, has a sticker, a tattoo etc that is deemed "witchy" there is a part of me that does say "Your welcome". That sarcasm 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣 I have had a book idea for a few years now and I am trying to decide how accessible it should be and if it should be a series or just one book. I LOVE how grounded this video is in reality, there showluld be more videos like this in feel and on topic.
