With the 2023-2024 NFL season now over, it's time to look back at the entire NFL playoffs to recap all the insanity that took place. We saw Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs take down Brock Purdy and the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl and cement themselves as an NFL dynasty. We also saw other players like Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen fall just short of taking down Mahomes. Now we look towards the offseason to see how teams can rebuild and load up for a chance to derail the Kansas Chiefs from getting the threepeat Anyway, if you enjoyed this video at all then like and comment if you want, and you can even subscribe if you think I've earned it.

The real hero of the chiefs playoff run was their defensive coordinator Steve spagnuolo. I would argue he’s the best defensive coordinator in the league. He was on FIRE in the Super Bowl.

I'm glad someone is pointing this out. That was a great KC defense this year. Spagnuolo's defense kept KC in the game long enough for Mahomes to finally do his Mahomes thing. Fox Sports has the KC defense ranked 2nd, which I feel like went totally under the radar. Spagnuolo has a bunch of rings as a DC because he's damn good.

This year is a great example of Defense wins championships. Chiefs D was truly amazing to watch this year. If the Chiefs had mustered up 25 points in every game they wouldve been 20-1. Spags is the best ive ever seen i think. Their secondary isn't fair, they lock down everyone. Their linebacking core is one of the best. Their Defensive line? Get outta here..

I will never understand teams suddenly going away from stuff that is working. My own team included. Like it’s the biggest baffling thing I’ve consistently seen. Idk if they think the other team is going to suddenly change drastically or what. CMC did win offensive player of the year. And Kansas City's offense was pretty lethargic during the regular season. Obviously, Mahomes got it done when it mattered most, but this was a down year for him. Yet a down year can still end in a Super Bowl win. I kind of feel sorry for every other quarterback in the league.

They did not call a time out because even if the time ran out it was only the first quarter of overtime. They had not finished their first possession of overtime so it would had went to the a second quarter and they just would had changed sides

The reason they didn't call timeout with the clock ticking down in OT is that, if the OT period had ended without them scoring, it would have just picked up in 2OT right where they left off. In the playoffs, OT running out is not like the half or game ending where you have to race against the clock, it's just like the 1st or 3rd quarter ending. That's why there was no 2 minute warning in the OT period even though there is in the regular season. Had it gone to 2OT and reached the 2 minute mark in that period, then there would have been a 2 minute warning.

This is why people need to quit using the regular season as a barometer for what a team will be in the postseason. It’s a completely different game. And it’s also about who you play. Browns played tons of backups/ bad offenses all year long and they looked better on paper than they actually were in reality. Ravens and chiefs were two best defenses in the nfl this year. They were both tested against elite QBs and offenses.

I agree with you I just thought it was funny he was saying we were so bad when in reality we had a historically great defense and a first ballot HOFer at QB who had been here 3 times already. The amount of disrespect for the Chiefs before this game was actually ridiculous. And Mahomes had by far his best game in the superbowl. @@mrdirtslife2688 field day is probably more my terminology. Plenty of analyst's(bad ones obviously) and a lot of pea brained internet commenters were acting like and adamant Purdy was gonna pass for 300+ and 3 TDs+ in a blowout win. It was insulting quite frankly.
