Heyyyyy guyssss! I'm back from the grave lmao. How do you like my new intro?? I really love it! Also this video is basically my recent repeats which copies what I did for my last video back to back, but I thought it would be interesting since I've been gone for so long. Also thank you for over 50 subs!
I wanted to do some much needed explaining after disappearing for a few months. Around the time I posted my last video, I was slowly falling out of the loop of kpop I guess. I stoped listening to it as much as I did and only really stuck to ATEEZ and K-hiphop. I burnt myself out of listening to kpop since I was always trying so hard to listen to as much as I could for my RU-vid channel. It was also the first time in years where I listened to "the locals music". I was listening to a lot of western rap and other jams. I'm kinda glad I stepped back from kpop for a little bit (besides my favorite artists). I took this as a lesson that kpop doesn't need to be taken too seriously. I say that in a way musically, because after my bts phase I never took the fan side too seriously and I know others emphasize that kpop is just music and to not take the fan side too seriously, but in my case I didn't realize I was taking the music aspect of it too far. I can just listen to what I want to and don't have to force myself to listen to crap just 'cause I want to impress people and seemingly have a variety of music on my channel. It may have a downside, my trying so hard to force feed new and underrated kpop songs to myself, because there really are a lot of talented artists out there who don't get recognition that they deserve and it gave me a little peace of mind to know that I could be spreading the word and getting people to like them. However, after this whole experience I learned to take a step back and chill out and just listen to what I like and whatever I find without avidly searching for it. I've also been in a not so great place lately, just stressed over school work and college applications. Sorry for the long explanation, but I hope this made since and that it clears a few things up. Maybe you'll take something out of it. :)
I was perhaps thinking of making my next video a video of my favorite non-kpop songs! Also, maybe a video where I compare my favorites in kpop with my sister since I haven't done that yet surprisingly. Idk tho, just some ideas.
