I admire the guy trying to help the others, I'm sure he was getting paid but there was no way his students were comprehending what he was talking about. If you have to explain that the blue hose goes on the big pipe and red hose on the little pipe then they shouldn't even be touching a reefer. They need to go back to refrigeration basics and understand where to connect and what each component is in the circuit. They are too green for this machine. Funny to watch though.
All you need is recharge, make sure to push release air output to clear out air vacuum on the gauges. Which locate in the middle of the gauge between blue and red. Put like 2 pounds of freon. You 👍 good. 😂. Other than thats you have leak somewhere. Also for safety wear PPE. Grove and safety glasses..
The guy said blue to low pressure and red to high pressure, and connect to where the bubbles are when you need to vacuum the system. The guy know his job just can't explain it right and people who don't know how to work in reefers unit such as thermoking or carrier will have an even harder time understanding anything. The Freon R404a for these units can be loaded both gas or liquid, just load it slow and with an scale. it's always better to vacuum the system and load the right amount of Freon to get a more efficient operation.
@@jonathanmembreno1325 not really. It's easy though. Thermo king has instructions in the operators manual. Basically get the box to around 0⁰f and add refrigerant until the ball in the sight glass is a bit over half way.
Wait this is not about fixing just to recharge get load off. Do you understand that. That’s shit happens. If yourr low on Freon you have issues for sure. You make no sense.
Take it to the pros most stuff he is saying is wrong...by the way if u have a breakdown good luck with the insurance...insurance wants certified professionals working on these high quality rigs.I have 18 yrs experience working on all these reefer unit plus you can get Seriously injured.....seen it too many times....you making big money take care of your equipment and it will take care of you. Take care blessings to all.
What de blue gauge for? Hook up de blue hose, put tank upside down, open dis and charge. Watch de ball float all de way up.Oh, sorry U got problems. Haha, too funny
It's is programmed like that if it weren't your load would most likely freeze on top or in the front depending if you have a produce shoot installed or not, You can set it different if you have to have it maintain 33 only, But it will stop and start alot unless you're running it on Continuous, Then it probably will.
@@raymondreiff8170 yeah man, I’m running on continuous, and when it’s set at 33 or 34 or 35 it always seems to run about 2 to 4 degrees higher than what it’s set at for Continuous
your intention is good but as a technician you know that it is handled high pressure and it is a diesel machine. therefore accidents that can happen to those who do what they see is your responsibility
It’s no more his responsibility than it would be whoever taught you if you fucked something up. The only legit reason nobody shares this information is because these mechanics want to charge $250 an hour with a 2 hour minimum just to throw some fuckin Freon in a unit.
I'm so so so sorry for u guy's. This guy knows nothing about how he most use and read 4 ways manifold gauge. Quick lessen. This gauge is for A/C unit's. U can use 2 way gauge . 2nd. If u want to take hi side prussure is better use compressor liquid service valve instead reciver. 3rd. Who told u high side prussure most be about 300 to 350 psi ??? And 400 psi could be sighn of problem. In last if u look at the refrigerant label on front u . can see this unit most be charge by R404a gas. This gas isn't freon. R404A is a HFC blend,
to much missing info on this clip like how to open valve which valve to open when to open how to bleed system which way to valve turns clock or counter clockwise half asss questions and half ass answers disregard that if possible dont try to think add freeon based on he is talking about if u think driving car is all about steering wheel he is right
Its not out of this world. I've notice that reefer work is very hidden from anyone. Why,don't know. But its very easy once you get hands on. It was limited to me at thermo king, but I've learned lots by myself. I have seen the worry of a driver owner operator and the smile after saving his load of frozen pizzas. I do road side with a partner of mine. I might be able to answer some questions to anyone and no I will not charge you.
These are people who are clearly trying to avoid paying money to the qualified technicians because they think it's quite an easy job seemingly. They keep on asking really stupid questions, clearly they have no much idea of how réfrigération system works.
Teaching them and he ain't got a fucking clue, fit ya lines right you won't keep pissing gas out! Useless, shouldn't be topping a system full stop. By the way I'm a thermo king cert tech!
Good afternoon Richard. I am looking for some help on a thermo king unit model num we mdII-50. I'm having cooling issues with it and I don't know where to start. I've never worked on one. I am an hvac/hvacr tech fully licensed but a close friend of mines went down and he wanted me to try and fix it. I just have a few questions about the system. If you can or have time maybe you could answer them for me. Thank you and have a great day sir.
