Mabyn Sawyer the ingredients such as Onion and garlic have the capability to instill Rajo Guna and Tamo Gina which roughly translate to Short temper and Lustful nature. Since Satvic ( peaceful or serenity form) is the best form to abide while praying it’s believed that they shouldn’t be used to make offerings to God. Hope this makes some sense. Understandable that everything is gods creation but there are some rules man imposed on himself to maintain the sanctity of self preservation. Thanks

When you cook in nonstick Kadai, please don’t use metal Karandi. Use Wooden karandi for good health sake and also save the nonstick vessel. Sorry for my advice.
