@@givemeyourshoes9721 Dude I have come back to this video so many times over the years. In WoD i joined this rbg group connected to a guild and they were all new players from like Mop going into WoD and I introduced them to Reckfuls videos and all these OG WoW players and they were hyped, all of them started pvping and some of them are rank 1 now in BFA (which doesnt mean much but still) it's just funny to think of the connections that stemmed from his stream/arena games. So much influence in an online world from one person
@@moneustv4253 funny how it's been literally 6 years since AT cata and I still can remember some of the names (not like there were only 30 of us online during the last months kekw)
So dumb that everyone is commenting about how broken second wind was, the gnome was a warrior too, and reckful dropped him in a matter of seconds. obviously no one wants to give credit to reckful for playing well.
Ikr exactly. SEcond wind wasnt shit and casters owned mop the whole expac wariorrs op Lol not even slightly. taste for blood stacks were overtuned and they got hotfixed immediately.
R.I.P Byron "Reckful" Bernstein, so sad that his happen. I can't actually believe it, I don't watch him that much. But seeing someone die by suicide is.. ugh I can't just believe it.
crazy that this video was 8 years ago... i always watched him playing wow and destroying pretty much everyone in arena... rest easy byron, i miss you and i love you..
Rest In Peace brother. It was an honor having the chance to meet you in Vegas at CES show while you were sponsored at Creative’s booth. You were such a good dude and let me play WoW on your rig at the booth. Was a very cool experience to share with you!
They definitely still are. Here is a clip of Mitch Jones of all people clutching a 2v3 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-rwsUow9uRP4.html.
Yeah, somehow, activision managed to make the game as unenjoyable as possible... They are good at that. CoD was a good game too. About 10 years ago or more...
Really? I don't know about that... Reckful killed him pretty easily... The gnome had second wind PLUS a healer. Maybe clicking a talent is not everything? Maybe skill mattered back than? How is a passive on one side stronger than exactly the same passive on the other side + healer? How can you even be so stupid? :D It's not about the ability, but players. This was low MMR, they were noobs. Just like you! :)
Everyone crying "second wind was so OP". Okay, well first they were 1500 mmr. If you saw how stupid LSD was in MoP you'd understand what OP really was lol.
Yup, LSD was fun... :D I managed to get 1750 rating with a friend who played WoW for less than month. That's how easy it was. :D Playing my warrior was fun, but not brainless. Unless you played against morons like in this video.
other warr had it too kappa reck is better than both these players combined kappa wouldve won even if second wind werent a thing even though it wasnt even op youre in execute range basically permanently kapppaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Without Second Wind, Reckful would not have lived long enough to make his play. Without Second Wind, the "noob" warrior, (noob but killed his healer, figures) would have killed him. Without Second Wind, the less geared Warrior would have killed him anyway. In short: Other Warrior did not have enough gear to DPS trough Second Wind, and Reckful would have lost many minutes before. No Kappa, just facts.
I am pretty sure priests weren't too happy in the beginning. That was the class to go one shot even through PS when you played 2s with double DPS. :D It worked like 80% of the time. But yeah, no expansion is perfect. But MoP was hella lot of fun!!! :) Unlike everything after that. Maybe the PvE drones didn't mind the pruning of abilities... But for PvP, it was a deadly blow.
Borlaug You missed the point entirely. It is broken that second wind enables a DPS to keep fighting for 4 MINUTES after his healer died. That is just stupid and bad game design. Not saying that he didn't outplay them.
Back in MOP there was a talent called Second wind. When you hit 30% HP you healed for a percentage of life every second up to 30% and this was so strong that it could literally outheal 2 rogues opening up on you(you can see the purple wind effect on buffs it has a 9 second duration) .. And since the shaman went oom he does 0 damage and he cant heal so the shaman is basically useless so its a 1v1 against the warrior literally. this is how he pulled off the victory :) RIP Reckfull and insanely skilled player for sure.
Rofl... this is why I didn't even bother with panda. Note how the slightly less geared warrior is completely incapable of landing the kill because of self-healing. 2v1 my ass, he could go for a bathroom break, come back, and still be alive.
Yeah, I wouldn't know about that. I played for 1 week in Panda, got a 50-1 score in 2v2, got my ass kicked in 3v3 due to CC spam and dispel CD, and then quit. Whether I was kicking ass or not didn't even matter. It just wasn't fun because of the wonky balance. I did return for the last arena week of panda because a friend of mine wanted an arena boost, but even that was absurdly boring. It just seemed like nobody did any substantial damage outside of CDs, and that the hp bar didn't really go anywhere 90% of the time. I heard WoD is better, but I have better things to do with my life now.
Brutalinax agreed, panda was just a huge pile of wank. nothing about it made any sense. come play on AT, 3.3.5 pvp is actually decent apart from all the RNG.
The other warrior had more HP until Reckful used commanding shout, the Gnome just didn't know how to dps well... That said MoP (and WoD) PvP is absolute trash as you said.
MrChipauketchup what? Why? he switched to commanding after his partner died and he lost the priest stamina buff, it made second wind tick for more healing; it's how he stayed alive.
+MrChipauketchup You know when it's really intense you don't think about rebuffing right? you're probably 1600 and don't have much on your mind since its easy
Battle Stance vs Defensive + Reckful's Gear and skill > noob war's gear skill (for example, forgot to debuff armor with Colossus Smash...) Make difference.
RIP Man. Me and a friend still talk about how sad it is you're gone. I don't think you realized the impact you had on the WoW Community. We all miss you. Rest in peace brother.
