One of the best Contemporary Christian groups around!!! Joel & Luke Smallbone or For King And Country are two brothers from Australia and yes they are even better live!!! Their sister is also an awesome Christian artist, Rebecca St. James. One of my favorites of theirs is "Fix My Eyes".
Our parish Festival Concert performed this version this weekend and the stunned silence after the sudden ending was followed by lusty applause and nothing but good/great comments. It was exhilarating to learn and perform and it may end up being an annual addition to the concert offerings.
Check any of the other LIVE versions. Fix My Eyes, or Burn the Ships. Always a wonderful heavy percussion. Three of the musicians are from my hometown of Ruston, LA USA. Everyone in the band can basically play any instrument. You can see that on their LIVE shows running and jumping to different things to play. So full of energy!
Yes! I was watching that show and they just blew the CMA audience and stars out of the water with their performance and (I think) the only standing ovation of the night.
Love them.....they are touring and are going to be really close to where l live. Would love to see them ,but l don't drive right now and my family has no desire to see them.
