Honestly, I’m hooked on this RA. I was hooked on the last one too, tbf… but I’m already on day 60+ and in the iron segment lol. It’s a shame that it’s not for everyone though.
@@DrSilvergun I've played it today for a few hours and so far I definitely liked to original one better. Not being able to reuse a squad is particularly irritating and imo a needless change.
@@KhadiPlays RA1 was much better because you had much better Skill Tree (for example starting resources etc.) which allowed you to easily cheese this gamemode and easily build + your base saved during the repeated games. On this one the base doesn't save (unless there's something I don't know about yet) and farming resources is pure pain I also hoped they would improve it but they actually managed to make it even worse because you can't simply cheese it to gain easy shop points
Except for the Jetman fight, RA2 is pretty balanced and feel well fleshed out. I can imagine sinking good hours into this, hope they do frequent updates
For anyione watching: invest in early Barriers and Walls, and use them for wave missions in the wild. You can easily buy yourself time by blocking the door with a generic barrier, and channel enemies around a longer, more controlled path using Urban Style Barriers. Barriers that block path and reroute enemies are 3 DP, and barriers that just block some dudes cost 0. This can buy you time to deploy a key aoe unit that will handle the early part of the wave easily.
yeah pretty accurate, in fact I'd advise to ignore the base outside of farms and other upgrades and just spend those resources to make maps easier. The roadblocks you place stay afterwards so you can use them as fortifications for multiple waves.
@@DrSilvergunexactly. Its much easier to turn a generic map into a defensive choke, than to fortify your entire base. And losing the skirmish doesnt lose you the run. Crusher enemies destroyed my base in RA1 and i vowed never to fight there ever again.
RA1 was the reason i took a break from arknights for the first time, couldn't believe how they could design something so bad. Hopefully the second one is better.
Main reason I see why people like this one less is that you cannot just reset the run, then craft 5 walls and repeat that process for an hour... Idk how that would be fun to literally anyone, but apparently that's what the players want
i had a similar problem with the ranged op wall deployable, in the big bob stage the little rats rushed to kill the wall but in the stages where they actually have a destination they just walk thru the wall, wtf xd
@@DrSilvergun well I'm lucky i found out early. Cause in ra i spam the hell out of it just to build the range tile for wall. Now i cant do that no more. Since range tile kind of no longer considered wall. Also blue box hp that got leak is considered dead if u managed to kill rest in ra 1 u can increase hp to around 20 so u can just straight up ignore orion rock since they only spawn 16 which i exploit the hell out of it since i don't know any way to kill that thing.
Yeah, I played it today for about 5-6 hours, like you say, and I was barely able to obtain like 5000 shop points to only be able to buy full pot Operator (which is useless btw.) and that's all. Probably there will be guides for how to optimize strategy, farming and gather as much points as you can but no, just one big NO. This mode is just pure pain, it doesn't provide any fun, it's just pure pain and grind, and boringness and whatsoever I also don't f****** want to waste 5 hours a day to get some pathetic materials or whatever from the shop, what the hell was wrong with them releasing this s***
@@SmokuZnadPotoku Wtf are you two talking about? This is a permanent mode. Why do you need to waste 5 hours a day? You can literally spend 10 min a day and still get all the rewards. Or just outright ignore it.
@@DykChungNguyenNot to mention that after 5-6 hours you should be almost half done the first shop, you get like 1k every 3 in game days and more when you clear objectives.
@@SmokuZnadPotokuat that point you're definitely not playing it correctly. SG played for 4 hours and got more than twice that amount, even though he is progressing quite slowly due to using 4stars only
I tried the second one. It's even worse than the first one because you cannot easily cheese points in this one. It doesn't matter that it never finishes and you have eternity to actually obtain points to buy things from the shop because this mode is THE WORST THING THAT LITERALLY EVER HAPPENED FOR THIS PLANET, HOLY S... IT'S REALLY SO BAD I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY THOUGHT RELEASING SOMETHING LIKE THAT WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA
@@SmokuZnadPotoku Keep lying to yourself. This mode needs at most a few hours per month. Or 0 hours at all and you still won't miss anything. But you can keep crying and spreading misinfo about 5-6 hours every day, sure thing. What a whiny crybaby.
@@SmokuZnadPotoku Holy shit, you are such a hypocrite. You also play this one of the most grindy gacha game. You also watch a streamer playing this gacha game. And you are telling me that I don't have life. Cool. But you too get life and touch grass first. Instead of crying how RA2 is the worst thing happened on this planet. What a little whiny crybaby.
