Been quite interested in this set as I got it for Christmas and have had limited play with issues. 1- drains a ton of battery from phones as you need it on constantly, it needs to use gps and Bluetooth all continuously. I even tried using a iPhone with a battery pack connected. The phone still died. Granted it was an older phone-but still crazy battery drain. 2- you are correct; iPhones specifically tend to have issues connected to the hub on unlimited time play style. 3-had Bluetooth connecting to the gun issues on a galaxy s8 (I think...was a friends phone). We had to manually go to Bluetooth devices and connect the gun. The problem is picking the right one; you have at least 2 guns that look similar in the Bluetooth list so it's hard to know which is right....ugh I do believe they are working on this stuff. You have to consider it's for a ton of devices, different OSes, etc. But man...by Christmas it should've been worked out better. Hoping they can fix it and bounce back!
Do you remember playing with the laser tag starlight blasters from 1986? I Purchased a couple of those on eBay, and they’re pretty neat. I’m really enjoying the Laser Ops Pro blasters as well. I also have two BRX blasters. Awesome review.
Mostly, yes. There are still glitches that can happen from time to time, but you can at least get a game going without having that major glitch happening.
I saw a set in a local goodwill for 70. I passed on it. I am sure in 6 months I will have no trouble finding them for next to nothing. A LTX in the rifle is the dream
Works fine here the phones you use are just garbage then all the people that complain expect way too much and use slow buggy android phones... those phoenix tags are big junk and a big waste lol
If the Phoenix LTXs are "big junk and a waste" then why have they been working great for us for a decade? Also, most of the phones we used were newer Android or iOS types.
Bazookafied lol read amazon reviews proof enough. The reason it still works for you nowdays is because in every video no gun looks used give it to 20 kids let them play with it for a week you end up with 10 broken guns for sure it's also old and i perfer this next level recoil game some wack people complain about with their shitty ass phones recoil is also still in development because i just chatted with them about updates that will come eventually
@@Supremepikachu Don't need to read the reviews when I've owned them myself. 24 LTXs have been used for over 150 games in the last 10 years. We couldn't even make it through 5 games without issues with the RECOIL app glitches or wifi connection issues. RECOIL can only accept 16 players at a time. No limit with the LTX. RECOIL only has an effective play area of 250 ft. No limit with the LTX. RECOIL blasters can only hit targets at about 200 feet. LTX can hit targets in excess of 400 feet easily. Can't argue with facts.
