okay oO I really don't think I need a security system in Japan which is supposedly the savest country in the world also I love those small bath units with the include toilet ... I'd actually prefer it over a "traditional wash room. Still doub't I will find something proper when I go to Japan next year .... rent is so insanely expensive :( After experiencing lots of Hotels / Hostels / AirBNB and even several flats on my holidays and even the one year working holiday for me the most important stuff would be a flat with a room that has no windows or some way of blocking the sun properly. I haven't had a single place in Japan within 10 years of visiting that had a good way to block the sun, only one place I stayed on my working holiday had metal "doors" as taifun safety which I hat almost always closed even outside of taifun season just to be able to sleep longer than till 5 am
