I feel that reliability, ease of operation, and dependable brushless motors are very important. I do not use my camera much for anything that others find worth watching. I find that my Bugs 2C camera drone that you recommended years ago has been an absolutely dependable flyer, with return to home, GPS, and quiet headless mode, which is extremely helpful for beginning flyers or people like me that do not have suitable ability to keep orientation. I got mine on sale for a little less than $130.00 but since it has never had any problems, it has flown for me hundreds of times. Thank you for recommending it . It is worth $200.00 full price as far as I am concerned.I have no use for WIFI either but some people do. Good video.

Way to go Saylors! You guys, as usual, gave it your best shot! I hear you all the time say, "I really wanted to like this [RC Vehicle] but, I think this one's a pass." And, then you list the pros & cons of it (or the WHYS) you suggested to us, to "pass on it." But, that's not all, you then pick out 1 or 2 that closely match either the same price point (but work better) or have the same but improved features/characteristics, or matches the intended user, like "beginner FPV," to help folks compare for themselves! (And, poor Nate's out there turning circles for 5 minutes to calibrate, NOT ME!) Hey, let's face it my friends - it's...It's.....IT'S LIKE, RC REVIEW NIRVANA! THANKS AGAIN, SO MUCH! JP

Loved your comment on the faulty drone bought at the hammer store, just like buying a hammer at a $2 store and wondering why it broke.the main thing with rc is to get some thing that fits in with what you want to do. No point in getting a on-road car when you want to drive off road and bash. The hard part is returning to the hobby and the new technology.

The Hubsan is fine, IF it connects the controller to your phone. And calibrating mine is'nt easy either. But, looking around a bit, you find the brushless 1080p JJRC Had for around 130 bucks. Good video as always peeps!

What about the Hubsan X4 H502E? If you don't need FPV then this is pretty much just as good at about half the price. Probably the cheapest GPS drone you can buy. (Under $60 now) Mine has been flawless, which is a pretty rare thing for me to say.

Man what’s wrong with jjrc they have been missing it , my first drone was a jjrc h12w and it’s has been a great drone I’ve crashed it into my house fence trees and it still flys as good as when I first got it come on jjrc step up your game, great job Nate and Abby as always keeping up with good honest videos bye guys 👍👍

It looks like a spark or a parot or hubsan . The quality of the camera is good though the range is limited but Good transmition. Thanks for the information guys . I agree with you guys there is something that would do more than it does with Thesame price. Like like like!!!!

So if I was wanting a camera drone for if I go hiking with my family. Something with a good camera but not to expensive just had a baby about a year ago, so something within a budget drone price range what would y'all recomend.

Hello great report this year so far has been terrible health wise and so forth but today I flew for the first time and now I am hooked oh wow awesome you stated a few programs ago that the best drone was the Spark so that s the one I flew now all I have to do is work out how to process the footage ha ha oh for the record I used the Samsung tablet S2 9.7 flew for 14 minutes for each battery had no problem and even the wind picked up and it told me stay within view which I won't move out of so fantastic thanks again stay safe

Love your videos they're very informative and you tell it like it is and tell us when not to waste our money. What worries me is with your "Strike" (which I totally think was a load of ****) by saying don't buy this go for the Hubsan, aren't you risking a similar issue? If not then keep it up then maybe the items you tell us to avoid will become better for your input. Thanks for all your hard work.

I would direct people towards the Bugs 2/Hubsan H501S or maybe the new Bugs 3 Pro (please do a review on that one if you can) instead of any brushed GPS quad if they want to get in to GPS camera drones. No need to mess around with cheap(er) brushed quads with drones of proven quality like that available for only a little more money imo. But then again; I do enjoy these videos so just keep 'm coming please :)

Hey Nate and Abby! I watch all your videos I am a current drone owner Contixo F-18. Love it! Well my wife ordered me aTonkin rock crawler RC car off of a ad on Facebook two weeks later we still don’t have it. Begun to wonder if we got burned. We sent six emails and never even answered one of them

Another great video guys and defo a pass for me. I did however, notice that it uses the same battery as the Hubsan H502E ... which can also be used in the Hubsan H216A. Both of these would be a better choice in my book (especially the H216A with FPV and a 1080p camera :) ) Tc :)

Best rc channel in RU-vid. You guys are awesome, I received my zd 10427 today and ran two battery cycles on it. Which brings me to a question about the charger that comes with it, the b3. When the second light turns green it stops charging ibcam hear the motor in the charger stop, so, is the battery fully charged and balanced propely? Sorry for my run on sentence structure, writing is my weakest edu. skill... lol thanks I'm advance for any help fellow Saylor fans.

Hey Billy, glad you got it and are enjoying it! I think that is just a 2 cell battery, but the charger is able to do 3 cells, which is why it has three lights. If that is the case then yes it is finished and balanced after the second light is green. I would recommend buying at least a cheap lipo charge bag to charge in as well for safety ;)

I have a question yall might have the answer for. About 2 years ago the FAA put out that drones needed to be registered. Does that include the hobby drones/quadcoptors as well?

It's nearly impossible for everyone to keep up with the FAA. At first you didn't need to register anything and AMA was good enough. Then you needed to. Not long ago they lifted that and said AMA was enough... now they are back to saying register it. I recommend calling them and or AMA to get a clear, current answer ;)

Good video though I've had bad experiences with JJRC drones in the past & wouldn't recommend them. The build quality is bad & the gears are really bad ,so bad that I've even had the gear wheels fall out whilst in mid flight with their h12 model.

I disagree with you guys. Very short flight time.. MJX Bugs 2 is under $200 but has a flight time of 13 mins.. I have one so I know exactly. Also it has 100% perfect RTH all buttons on the controller are labelled. Im sorry but its not a good recommendation.

Video was decent. Why can't they come up with one button calibration. Seems to me it should be technologically doable instead of all the twists & turns they make you do. I agree pass. Good review. Nate you need to pack a picnic basket, so when your not near food places you can keep Abby & B-bump fed.🍔🍟🍗🍕🌭🌮🌯🍩🍧🍦🍨. 😏😏

At least my H501 only takes 1 full turn horizontal and vertical, and last about 19 minutes per battery

i dont like cheap camera drones even expesive ones they are sooo expensive and the quality of the video isnt even thatgood i am waiting a cople of years before buying a 1000$ drone im sure the technology will be way better. good video

its good but still its very expensive if you want real good video, and 4k on the drone cameras doesnt look like real 4k shot with a movie camera and it looks closer to 720 p

Cplus there are already good options for the $500 range. They probably will be getting better and lower as parrot has even entered into the "mavic" sized 4k market. time will tell

JJRC is priced very well, within our budget and sometimes has great stuff :-) A little hit and miss.
