Very nice quad! A 5.8GHz camera with remote tilt control is really nice for FPV fun flying, even without a gimbal. Great that they included a monitor so you can share the experience with others. My guess is reception would be even better with goggles or another monitor using quality antennas; can imagine some people might go that route for FPV practice. A GPS version would be nice, too. Adds to the cost, sure, but the additional safety and stability of a good GPS setup sure is handy. Little Mr. Brave Heart stole the show, for sure (even before his 5.8GHz of fame at the end)! He was either going to show that drone who’s boss or wet his pants, and I’m not sure even he knew which it would be. You better get another battery so Pops can REALLY teach that drone a lesson. 😁 Great review!

The Quad in so manyways is alsmost exact in looks to the Hubsan H109s X4 Pro. Landing gear, front clear plastic which wraps around the front, and the top of the bird has exact same indentions or molding as X4 pro.

Really wish you could do a live (if possible) q & a video. Being a newbie a got alot of questions. Example what is the difference between brush and brushless motors? Another do you have your drone license and is it worth getting? Is it worth registering like a dji phantom to the faa? Totally into the hobby, love the channel. Last question for Nathan how did you get so lucky to find someone that is into the hobby? My wife has no interest. Love to fly with you guys one day. Keep up the good work!

That seems to be a great budget drone. I love the model. Looks like the hubson x4 pro... Which i love... But im blown away by the camera. Its great for the price. I would definitely suggest this if getting into the hobby. I wouldnt doubt it if someone hasnt already put a 3axis gimble on this model. Or any mod to this quad. Awesome video.. Popeye haircut is looking fresh..

I have the Hubsan X4 PRO. That quad looks like a lot like it. Great performing budget flyer! I wonder how long it would fly and if it would land itself when it ran out of juice or Kamikaze into the ground? Great video! ;-)

Being 7.4v and brushed motors, is this going to be like my JJRC H8D and burn out motors every second battery? Especially with the added weight of a camera under it!

Ok dumb idea, but, have you thought of finding a stuffed toy that looks like a quad copter for Popeye? Also, an idea for someone much more talented than I, a mobile for the baby of rc vehicles (Not working ones but models) quads, trucks, planes etc., it'd be amazing

Hello John :) If I'm not mistaken, we flew this for it's entire battery in our video. Shouldn't be any jump cuts or anything, so what you watched is a realistic, actual flight time. Hope that helps!

Could it be that the drone manufactures are watching your reviews and improving their products. Their cost to upgrade electronics would be small compared to what it would cost us to upgrade them on our own. In the 60's Japan sent cheap cars then they found out that durable cars sold better and got repeat buyers.

And yes, you are right. For 100 bucks you need to get brushless motors. I mean, MJX is doing that for a long time now with every quad they send out. Even for less then 100$

Hey I got myself one of this drone but d box says its 2.4ghz. Also it ask me to use my smart phone as the monitor for the camera n also the camera is not motorized to adjust up or down. But it's the same drone except for those things I said abt it.

Hi. Great rewiev....again. i have to say this one looks exactly like Hubsan h109s pro just withouth brushless motors, gps and remote. And batterie is 3s 7000mah on hubsan but anyway..Even legs and camera with that servo is ...the same. Ok lets say cheeper copy but ok.

Although the FPV range is adequate it is probable that the monitor could be modded simply and cheaply to make it better. Whether that is justified on this quad is a matter of choice Good review
