All this technology will only result in troops relying less and less on actual hard work and dedication to better themselves physically on a natural level. What happens when all that tech malfunctions or is damaged? Well you're left with a weak soldier unable to carry his combat load naturally, because he trained with all this weight-bearing tech and never got used to carrying the actual weight of his essential gear. The American military is the best in the world, and we became that way through hard work, blood and sweat. The line between technology and great training is right where it needs to be. In the Corps, we were required to carry heavy loads all the time, but in the end it prepared you physically AND mentally. I believe that is essential in combat. You train how you fight, and I know first hand that you cannot count on tech to always work for you. Nothing is better than good old hard work and team work. Marines know that first hand.
