Huzaifa presented the earlier history of the region but skilfully avoided referring to the people and literature of those times. He perhaps didn't want to hurt the sentiments of hardliners of Pakistan. Referring to Taxila without Chanakya who was the architect of the Mauryan Empire. Also he seems to have deliberately didn't mention that four Vedas were written in the region of his subject. This would have meant that Indians and Pakistan have a common heritage and culture. The religions can be different but the past can't be denied. What's done can't be undone. Pakistan is a reality and will continue to exist. But let's celebrate our common heritage. The people of west Asia as per his own writings translated Sanskrit texts particularly medicine and Mathematics. Why this hatred when we are children from the same past.

I dont think he has any hatred towards chanakiya and the vedas, you have to understand its a 12 mint. long talk, in which he cannot cover everything. The purpose of this talk is to give basic knowledge about the heritage of pakistan and how its similar in today's pakistan.

Taxila was a boring, ill maintained and hard to live in city until now, studying there feels like more of an honour than it ever did before. Thank You!

Pakistan exhibits diversity and a clear divide in cultures, history, and heritage. The eastern side of Pakistan, including Punjab, Saraiki, Kashmir, and Sindh, shares historic and heritage ties with Indian history, connecting to Hinduism, Sikhism, and Buddhism in the past. Conversely, the western side of Pakistan, comprising Pashtun and Balochi in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, maintains historic and heritage connections with Afghanistan, Iran, and West & Central Asia. The language, culture, and cuisine of Punjab, Kashmir, and Sindh reflect origins from the Indian subcontinent, while Pashtun and Balochi in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan draw influence from Afghan, Iranian, and West & Central Asia origins. This diversity in cultures, history, and heritage is accurately represented by the language tree and DNA ancestry tests. In the modern day, this can be confirmed through DNA ancestry tests. If your DNA results show over 50% South Asian ancestry, your language and heritage align more closely with the Indian side. Conversely, if your DNA results show less than 50% South Asian ancestry, your language and heritage lean towards Afghan, Iranian, and West Asian influences.

The major cause of Pakistan's identity crisis is that it was carved from the very idea that it is specifically not or rather different from what it actually is i.e. just a historical part of the larger Indian culture. But in order to carve a new identity the country became an orphan searching for a home which it ironically is sitting upon all along. Teach the real history. Include the shared culture. Don't be afraid. Go the extra mile the next time and include the things carefully removed in this talk.

Very deliberately skipping Vedic period, skipping Chanakya while mentioning Taxila, skipping Hindu king Raja Porus while Mentioning Alexander and i think Pakistanis are the only people who call their invaders as 'The Great'. And deliberately skipping Punjabi and sundhi history and it's deep rooted connection with ancient Bharat while heavily emphasing on central asian connections and relations with Invaders. Ladies and gentleman here is a Pakistani historian for you.

Murakh, what program were you watching ? ...Mr Huzaifa was constantly referring to the history of coterminous Pakistan not of your non-existent Bharat and Aghori Baba culture from the sewage that is the lands of the Ganga.Regards Mandirchaap
