My freind is french he Said that the trains in France and he takes the tgv and he said it was the worlds fastest train in the world when it got its 357mph
Yep, like the Shinkansen, it was the original and still the best, like flying on land. Fluid, Stable and extremely Fast! Use them whenever possible to return to the u.k. from Angoulême.
I personally find the old TGV train more beaufiful than the new duplex one. This older/first model has got this stunning & aggressive appearance. So nice!
If SNCF is smart, they'd study the Amtrak heritage units, and think "that's smart, let's paint one of each tgv type with the old tgv paint schemes." I'd love to see a reseau with the orange paint, 325 with the '90s paint, the only thing that'd be strange would be the duplex with the orange paint.
@@zoulou1383 I didn't add it for ' dramatic ' effect. But you are right, I probably should have mentioned it. Even today, the TGV can give MAGLEV a run for it's money (literally).
@@BOCAJUNIORSJUVENTUS Yes, it is. But the Japanese train which clocked the impressive speed of 603 km/h (not 610 km/h) is a MAGLEV train which means that it is radically different from the TGV. The TGV is a conventional High Speed Train (with wheels unlike the MAGLEV) and therefore, it's speed record is more impressive.
I will always remember the first time I took this beautiful train from Paris Gare de Lyon to Lyon Perrache in 1992. It still makes my pulse race thinking about it.
I have great memories of going to the model train store with my father and buying this orange TGV Sud East model for the large layout we had in the early 1980s. We subsequently bought a couple more sets years later. I hope to build my own layout one day with this TGV as it’s attraction. Definitely my favourite train ever
Instantly recognisable, aggressive and very distinctive in the orange. One of the best looking trains. I've seen them all lined up at a terminus station whilst riding down to a Harley Davidson HOG rally in the south of France. I'm sure I must have photos, but they will be on 35mm slide film
The music was added later, its from the Hollywood movie Requiem for a Dream made in 2000 and the music composed by Clint Mansell. Do watch the movie if you haven't, it's marvelous.
Incredible,Amazing,Marvellous.... OMG just checkout the low flying cargo plane capturing the video amazing camera on and off the tracks....... It's just just Superb...😍😍😍😍😍🙏🙏🙏🙏
What the video doesn't show you is how it feels to travel inside. Even at top speed, it barely shakes. You can walk from the restaurant car back to yours without having to hang on to anything or spilling a single drop. Couldn't be smoother if it was levitating. South Korea operates a more modern variant, it's even more comfortable and has TV's.
I love this video and I really appreciate the creation and producer of this video. This video looks like a documentary. I really appreciate giving a thumbs up because I really like this video. In my opinion, this is the best video with TGV trains. Thank you very much for the best TGV video. ❤️❤️ (And please don't take the word "I love" literally thank you)
Superbe video, images super nettes !
French TGV and people : 1981 400km/ph, and we are still not satisfied. Indian Railways and people: 2020 we have Duronto world's fastest superfast train 160 kmph. And soon we will land on Mars & moon. Lolololol
Indian have big population and economy in small compare to china .... So it's take time to get this type of technology ....but seems like you compare your country which has small population and colonial ear... Who looted lots of country....and make your self rich.... India gain by there self ... Not external help fucking idiot.... So much so india surpassed in terms of gdp number.... And india also building there bullet train rail corridor by help of Japanese......
French made the ground transportation really fast and convinient. Engineers deserve many congrats. In my country, Greece, they try to convince people that 160km/h train speed is innovation...
The TGV isn't that fast everywhere. It needs specific tracks. On regular tracks, it runs as slow as regular trains. So, I don't know Greece, but if there are old tracks, 160km/h can be an innovation indeed.
They spend serious money on shooting it, must be for export reasons. This vid is what I would show to other countries and say, you need high-speed rail!
