It’s interesting that the Elvis bootlegs are being sold on Discog. Most bootlegs/unofficial releases are not allowed to be sold by Discogs. I think the reason why bootlegs hold their value at record fairs is partly due to the fact 5hat you can’t buy most of them on Discogs or eBay. Nice finds
A bootleg will always be a bootleg. But be careful, there are very well pressed bootlegs. I wonder why discogs authorize some bootlegs and others not .
I bought in 2012 on Discogs a bootleg of the lp from Tal Armstrong , a superb album soul funk . Sound is top , a great bootleg . In 2015 , Discogs stop the sells and put this message on their website: "This release has been blocked from sale in the marketplace. It is not permitted to sell this item on Discogs." However, they authorized the sale of this album for 3 years.🙃🙃
I bought volume one of The Rockin' Rebel LP in 1979. These albums were so far ahead of the RCA releases at the time... I wish I had volumes 2 and 3. 'The King Goes Wild' has an amazing sleeve design too. Your records look to be in great condition, well done!
Unbelievable! Who said vinyl was dead? Oh wow, the Elvis records are fantastic. I have one of the Rockin Rebel LPs but you guys in Europe have so much more available to you than we do in Australia😢
I have very few bootleg too when price for one record is too much .There are great bootleg. About the artist Elvis Presley ,i can't say nothing because i am interesting by another kind of music .
@sfl6307 Thank you very much for watching and your kind words, I really appreciate it. But I don`t think most poeple are into soul at least not here in germany.
