@@dollarsmocap Any plans for a plugin that supports facial rigs/bones instead of blendshapes? From my understanding, blendshapes are easier to get accurate expressions but they are less flexible than bones in a sense that bones can work on multiple models (we can reuse the animations and share them across different models where else blendshapes are vertex index dependent and it isn't possible to share the blendshapes across different models). Correct me if I'm wrong but from what I see, this is the case. Imagine having to make 52 blendshapes for each character model, while a face bone/rig setup can be just snapped onto any humanoid models, and it will work.
@@Emptrix Hi, you are correct, sir, but since most of the character generation solutions(Character Creator, Daz3D, MetaHuman Creator, VRoid Studio, etc.) use blendshapes to control facial expressions, we currently have no plans to officially support bone-driven facial expressions. Sorry about that.
