I have a Nikon mirrorless camera and it used snapbridge app via bluetooth to send video feed to phone. I think this is a much better way to view your video output in real-time without the delay. I still record on camera internally but can use phone as monitor now. Thanks!

Thank you for your interesting comment. I agree that in most cases I would record to the camera's SD card (or other media) since the quality is likely to be much better. But there are times when recording to a phone is genuinely useful. But my main reason for using this setup is that it gives me a cheap external monitor that's easy to setup and doesn't require me to carry much other than a cable and small capture card, since I always have the phone on me.
