Amazing, on-spot, impeccable playing; horrible, thin, punchy, fuzzy overdrive: Lord's sound in Highway Star was totally different both in studio and live.

Great!! This is what Hammond organs are made for, in my opinion. Just can´t stant B3 jazz, which forms like 95% of all the Hammond clone demos on RU-vid.

Thank you very much, the sound I used here comes from the "Legend" Organ to the extreme by the "Organ Drive" tube distortion effect.. 😉

@@paolocercato also great choice of highwaystar solo. I think this one has much more jon lord beast mode in it than any other live performances or the album version.

Actually in my opinion is the best overdrive for organ because it has a lot of little combinations of warm sound...
