Good tutorial, but you forgot to mention before doing the formatting part that it’ll delete everything on the card. You mentioned it after and with people doing it step by step they will make the same exact mistake I made. Deleting every on the card :/
Awesome video - thank you for the detail! I do have one question: while I know that auto-focus will not work continuously while shooting video, can it be used just to set up the shot for vlogging? If you're not going to move, and don't have too shallow a depth of field set, I'm wondering if the camera would auto-focus on you and then just...stay where it is (which in my case, would work out fine). If the auto-focus just doesn't function at all once you set the camera to video mode, that's also good to know. Thx.
Ok i have a question I don't know if you would see this but I hope that someone knows this answer ok I have a canon rebel t5i camera everytime I record it stops four or five minutes in . My memory card is a 64gb I don't know if I need a new card or more gb if I do what do you recommend me to do and use also it's not over heating for it to be cause too stop it's just stops every five minutes or less .
What the heck?if i format it'll delete all the photo damn I didn't listen,is it possible to put back tha photos? there's a lost of old photos i just deleted i guess after i do the format tingy..
I need help with lenses... I have a small room I'm shooting in. I have the 18-55mm lens & my camera basically has to go 2 rooms over to shoot. That's not going to work. Is the 50mm lens good for shooting in a smaller area?
Hey!! One question I got all the settings just how you explained in the video but for some reason it keeps automatically stoping after 5 seconds of recording... why does this happen??? I’m using a 18-135mm lens
I agree, the video card needs to be fast enough to record video. it needs minimum of U6 -that's a U shaped icon on the card with a 6 (or bigger) inside it.
You simply cannot do this. It is limited to a max of 30 minutes but at 1080P you will only get 12 minutes due to overheating protection that you cannot defeat or bypass.
Hi. What about if you have the 50mm lens, Can this setting still be good? Because i find it hard to set it to manual mode as it does not focus. Thanks in advance 😊🙏

Haha! Same. I went to school for it, graduated, been working in video for a long time now. Difference is I learned on Studio cameras so the lighting is always the same. & the way you set up the camera is different. I got this DSLR & am clueless on it's settings. 🤣🤣🤣
