Hey! It's the girl that makes coffee for her mom before she goes to work (I commented on your last video) , I just wanted to tell you that she really likes the Honey Cinnamon latte. thank you :D 💕
This isn't "real caramel". But it doesn't matter because you're not making caramel treats where the consistency matters... you're just making a sauce for coffee (or ice cream!).
You’re really cool! Not just the coffee, you seem like an amazing person. You quickly became an idol of mine. Stay safe however long this pandemic lasts!
Fun tip! If you're super lazy you do the whole caramel process with just a can of sweetened condensed milk and simmer it down slowly alone, it becomes caramel :) Thank you for not being a gatekeepery channel, really fun to watch
Make white hot chocolate with white chocolate and milk heated up in a pan, and mix it half and half with coffee. If its iced, just cool that hot chocolate and coffee down. I hope that helps! Also white chocolate is basically solid fats with sugar and vanilla so you can honestly kind of just make a vanilla milk if you don't have white chocolate. Its not quite the same, and if you have it Id add some corn starch to thicken a bit for that hot chocolate texture, but it would still be good.
White Chocolate Mocha Sauce: - 2 cans of condensed milk - 1 can of evaporated milk (14oz) - 3/4 cup of sugar - 1 tbsp vanilla extract - 1 tsp instant coffee - 6oz white chocolate 1. mix milks, sugar, and vanilla over medium heat until slightly simmering 2. add in your white chocolate 3. throw in your instant coffee/espresso once your chocolate is melted 4. once everything is well combined, take your mixture off of the heat and allow it to cool 5. store in a container after it has cooled and put it into the fridge
FGDHDJSKDK I’M SO GLAD RU-vid RECOMMENDED YOUR VIDEOS TO ME! I found you on TikTok last July but stopped using the app in August. Your TikToks inspired me to start making my own coffee drinks with an old espresso machine and I’m still making coffee to this day! I love that you’re doing drink tutorial videos on RU-vid now
I’m currently a Starbucks barista, but I actually have worked in smaller shops and am trained more traditionally. I love your channel 😊 helps me relive my small shop days. I miss them but Starbucks pays for my college! Lol
I went to high school with Morgan and it was such a pleasant surprise to see her pop up on my RU-vid. I didn’t know her very well (we were friends of friends at the time) but it’s crazy to see someone you’ve met killing it on youtube!
Love the imperfections of your videos, this is Life it should be. Thanksgiving for your efforts & time... continue expand to stuff related to coffee & Barista
You should continue to do easy at home coffee videos because I'm getting bored of my usual crappy coffee and miss my fav cafe :( Also your videos are just so nice to watch even if I don't plan of making the recipes myself
dude I made this and it was literally so good. I had tried to do a similar thing with "real" caramel sauce, but this butterscotch sauce worked much better and actually dissolved in the cold coffee. the flavor was bomb and I could really taste it in the drink! plus your recipe is wayyy easier to make than regular caramel. thank you so much
I made this but I did a half batch of the caramel recipe and didn't have any heavy cream at home so I instead added extra butter and used milk. turned out great! my caramel measurements (half the amount in the video): 6 tablespoons of milk 6 tablespoons of butter 1/2 cup of brown sugar (to make the same amount as morgan use 4 tablespoons of butter and 3/4th cup milk)
so like i haven’t seen any comment saying they made this but i still did it and waited a bunch of time for the cold brew lmao, but I don’t have that thingy she does so i just put 11 tablespoons of coffee and 4 cups of water on a jar and left it for 20 hours on the fridge and then with a cheesecloth drained the grains of coffee out I made the caramel but i think i burnt it bc it wasn’t as sweet so it’s eh (i did it when the cold brew had like 16 hours in the fridge so that the caramel could also be in the fridge for some hours) also i added 1 teaspoon of vanilla and 1/4 teaspoon of salt at the end when it was out of the heat. then i put it all together but my caramel was like really thicc 😼 so it was gonna take a lot of time to incorporate and i’m lazy for that so i just put it in the ninja blender thing with the cold brew and milk and like 4-5 tablespoons of sugar bc the caramel wasn’t as sweet and i like sweet stuff so yeah (NOT WITH ICE THOUGH OTHERWISE IT WOULD HAVE ANOTHER TEXTURE OR WHATEVER ITS CALLED AND I DONT LIKE IT LIKE THAT) and once it was to my liking i put it in the cup and added ice and it was really good like that tbh. no one is gonna read this but if this helps someone then good ig lol
This is the first video of yours that i saw and i absolutely loved it.. Actually i loved the way you explained everything. My mood suddenly improved ❤️ thank a lot 💕💗💟
btw , found this great recipe for rich caramel , for 1 cup: 90g or 1/2 cup , high quality unsalted French butter: elle & vire / president , 6 blocks 200g 1 cup white sugar small salt 1/4-1/3 tsp 125-150g 3/4 cup heavy cream (38% better then 36%), room temp 1/8-1/4 cup water 1 spoon quality eucalyptus honey (organic , pure raw, unheated) 1 tsp vanilla extract (pure from real vanilla: Nielsen-Massey / McCormick) 1 tsp cinnamon preparation: medium heat at first , when adding butter , lower heat, stir once in a while, then pause to let it caramelize/merge, don't overheat , so it wont have burnt taste so: first sugar+water+honey , wait/stir, lower heat, then add butter , wait/stir, then cream+vanilla+salt+cinnamon stir then wait let it cool in a jar for the night at the refrigerator when doing espresso , i don't like to put it on the bottom , so it's melts , i do the opposite , i like to put the caramel , on the tip of glass around
I have been on TikTok for a year and had no idea you were on youtube too. (Note to self check profiles for youtube tabs). Guess because I finally made my first compilation its recommending folks. Also I follow you there love your stuff. I'm subscribing now. And thanks for the advice on coffee making
just a psa for anyone who wants to try this but doesn’t want/doesn’t have a cold brew maker. literally any container with a lid will work for making cold brew. dump COARSE (very important that it’s coarse) coffee grounds into a container, add filtered water, and let sit for like 12-18 hours. after that, i made a really simple filtration system by putting a coffee filter inside of a sieve. cold brew is super easy and reasonably priced to make at home!
Damn the internet gods have seen my history. I have been making coldbrew from home for about a week now and I’m glad I found out how. I spent 9 dollarinos in beans and I basically have all these other ingredients at home anyhow. I no longer need to use up what little money I have in my bank account when I’m desperate for caffeine.
I am a Dunkin' donuts girl! Not so much on the caramel. Most of the year I drink cold brew even in the main winter. I will have a couple of hot coffees every now and then. And then I just pour in a quarter of a cup of coffee some water and some sweetened creamer it's actually real cream.
Would it be possible to borrow some Milk, Morgan...hmmm??? If I feel I can't help crying.. 😭 it'll be over "YOUR" spilt Milk!!!! Love the narration, w/faint background music.. 🎶 🎵🎶
Morgan, I would love to see your interpretation on the fictional “Brushed suede” espresso from Black Mirror. It’s mentioned in a couple episodes and seen in Nosedive, but has no real world comparison. Looks like a flat white but might not be.
hey! i’ve made my own caramel sauce and whenever i add it to my coffee i can’t taste it at all. am i not adding enough? my caramel sauce has lots of taste so idk what i’m doing wrong :(
helps a bunch if you warm up some milk/cream and melt the caramel into it so that you have a prepared caramel coffee creamer which you can then cool and add to your coffee as needed. Hot coffee will always cover up some taste so try it with iced coffee to really bring out the caramel flavor.
When i make caramel syrup for coffee i use just white sugar (checkout Emma's Goodies for her caramel sauce) then put a bit more salt than normal and after it's cooled i put a packet or two of sweetner(Sweet n Low or Stevia) and it really bumps up the flavor so i only need to use a teaspoon or 2 to get a nice caramel flavor in my coffee 😁 since there's no milk product it doesn't need refrigeration
