I'm still trying to alter my perspective on social media, changing it from a place I previously used to covet new things, and turning it into a place to find inspiration, especially when it comes to fashion and style. This was a lot of fun to do, so let me know if you want to see more videos like this! Stay healthy and well, all xo
style apotheca you are inspiring so many people. Thank you for your constant transparency. Even in the videos where you talk about how you slipped up, I still find motivation and inspiration. You’re so real and open and it’s amazing to see. Thank you for putting out such great content! ❤️
Really love the later outfit that had a black turtleneck, chambray shirt of some sort, and then a suit jacket and trousers. Along with a little higher boot. So cool.
I really appreciate how authentic you are. No BS, I love it! Thanks for the video it's great, I've been trying to do the same thing at home (re-creating looks from IG) and it's much harder to do than I thought.
LOVE this video!! I have been doing this everyday in quarantine..taking one piece in my wardrobe and trying to find 3-6 outfits I can wear with that one piece! Then I save to a folder in my phone and when I’m back to work I can scroll and see what I feel like wearing that day! 💃🏻
This is the perfect kind of content for right now while I'm stuck at home and needing to save money rather than covet stuff on social media - thank you!
Thanks for the inspo. I really like videos like this that get me thinking about what I already own rather than wiping out the credit card to get "that dress" or "that top."
Great recreations! I tried this for the first time a few months ago and found it so helpful. It’s crazy how I would always think I was looking at Pinterest for outfit inspiration but was never actually translating it into real outfits from my closet.
what a great video, Christina. Would love to see more like this. Maybe check out jennifer lawrence and/or Emma stone street style out:) cool chics as well:)
Great outfits. I loved how you went out of the box for the last one. I also liked how you mentioned that Pinterest is supposed to be inspirational, not a shopping list.
I think I need to start a style inspo folder as well because I get bored of my own clothing because I tend to only wear the same few thigs on rotation despite having a lot of clothing. I will challange myself to combine items in a new way!
Amazing video, my style aspirations are the same but unfortunately I mostly wear my work clothes or my pyjamas - reminded me to work harder to style up some things during the times I'm able to. I have a lot of similar clothes that I could use but just never have the motivation - but this has given me some :)
Rachel C that’s amazing! I agree it’s easy to lose motivation when we can’t go anywhere. But just making this video itself provided me the inspo I needed to just get a little boost. Let me know how it goes for you rachel! ❤️
Every outfit looked great Christina, but I especially loved the Winona Ryder look. The black Zara boots are perfect. You looked like you were having fun here :-)
Enjoyed this video and feel this is the theme that the RU-vid influencer should be more focus on. Because a lot of viewers are probably strapped for cash right now and this video shows how to work with existing items. You did really good putting together your looks. I really like the Cindy Crawford all beige monochrome look. My last day of thrifting was 3/22 because under mandate they all closed with the last retail stores. This will give me the chance to get my thrifting addiction under control and save money. I thrifted too much and this will give me time to organize everything. It take 30 days to break an habit, looks like we are going to ben in isolation that long. I can feel myself going thru thrift withdrawal. Tee Hee I am working from home, my concern is for those that do not have this option and how it will effect their wellbeing and finances. Thanks for sharing and blessing to you and all in the days to come.
I love this video! It's so fun and I wanna try this with my clothes, seeing as how I have all the time in the world now LOL look who's taking care of their nails!? 😂 looking good girl! ❤
Loved this Christina, and you looked amazing in the Oxford shirt outfit (the one you thought was too cool for you...how wrong you were!)😘. Inspired by you, I’m now just coming up to my 5th month of my no buy..year... and I've still not bought any new clothes (except new undies which needed replacing).
Nilufar Sayidova they are really nice and comfortable so far, though I admit I haven’t worn them standing all day at work at the pharmacy yet. That’s always the true test for me - the day glove did pass that test tho!
@@Christinamychas do you think they are quite similar? I own the day gloves and love them. Some of the reviews of the 40 hours flat said they were too long, pointy which made me to hesitate to purchase. Thanks!
I'm always jealous of people who can borrow their SO's clothes. I'm 5ft (S) and my husband is 6ft3 and wears an XXL. The only thing I can borrow is tshirts to sleep in. 😐
