The size of the wheels and tyres will have a noticeable effect on performance and economy. Looks good but in my opinion a big step backwards. Especially if the vehicle will be a tourer as most ifs vehicles are.

for this tyre, 285 70 R17, apart from the two-inch lift and wheel spacer, did you have to make any changes to the plastic on the front so the wheel doesn't grate on the truck when you turn the wheel?

Hello @weekend warrior, no diff drop as of yet, just the two inch lift... Diff drop may be a future modification

did it give it much lift? been told by a few companies that 20mm is the maximum you can do for a MR triton

I had a 2.5 inch (65mm) lift done, still legal without a cert in NZ as its classed under a 2 inch.

Did you upgrade the control arms aswell?

Hi @Rennykapz, not at this stage, the lift was 2” in the front if we were to go higher a control arm upgrade would be required.

Hi @56JimboSlice at the moment there is very slight scrubbing on the factory bumper, however this will be resolved in a future mod when we fit a Bull Bar.

Did you do any altercation on the body mount or fender sir to fit the tyres? And what are the exact specs of the rims? 17x9 with what offset sir.

@@stephanalfredhierl8632 Hello Stephen, we did have to cut away the front bumper a touch, however this is going to be removed anyway when we install the bull bar. They are a 17 x 9 rim with zero off set, you will need flares
