I wanted to add that taking nitro and D- mannose together has completely demolished all uti symptoms. I also take AZO Cranberry, pro biotic, & daily vitamins daily. I drink 3-4oz water bottle daily too

​@jennifereaster3318 From what i understand, D mannose only helps if your bacteria is E-coli. I take D-mannose powder 2g 100g by nutricost amazon. I take it 3 times a day in 1/2 cup water. I also take a pro bitotic. Im also perri menopause & take Premarin estrogen daily prescribed. Im going to see a urologist. Burning everyday still after 1 yr & if i dont maintain i feel very sick. This has altered my life

Great question. Studies show it is safe for long term use. Vaginal atrophy is a progressive disease, so if you stop using estrogen cream the condition can worsen over time.

Is it safe to continue with the estradiol vaginal cream while I'm on oral bioidentical l HRT treatment? Because the cream is what helped me with the UTIS now that I'm on HRT haven't used it and feeling a UTI coming

Lynn don’t know if this could help you but I went to the urologist and she put me on Methenamine Hippurate. You take it with vitamin c and it makes your urine acidic which is not favorable for bacteria to grow. It has worked so well for me and I had a UTI every few weeks before. Hope you feel better!

@@AndroidTECHGEE Ok, D-mannose is designed to flush out e-coli. Ecoli bacteria have these sticky legs that hold onto your urinary tract walls. Ecoli love d-monnaose so the idea is to get the ecoli from jumping off the walls so they can get flushed out when you pee. If that did not work... Try the strongest form of Manuka honey you can find, grade 15+. Manuka honey is extremely good at killing bacteria. Mix one tablespoon of munaka honey into a cup of water. Drink it twice per day. Try it for one week and notice if the infection goes away. If Muhuka honey does not work ( which I'll be surprised if it doesn't) Get some grade 2 maple syrup (specifically grade 2 maple syrup). So now, visit your doctor and get another prescription of anti-biotics. Now drink 2-3 tea spoons of grade 2 maple syrup per day as you take anti-bitoics, (the grade 2 maple syrup will make bacteria weaker and easier to kill antibiotic resistant bacteria). Antibotics that did not work before will work more effectively now, as you consume grade 2 maple syrup. If this still does not work, try the maple syrup with natural antibiotics, such as garlic, oil of oregano, thyme or horseradish. Maybe mixing them all up in a blender to create a smoothie will be easier. Drink that twice per day with grade 2 maple syrup (drink the grade 2 maple syrup separately). If this does not work I have no more advice for you Try the honey first, and then everything else in order if the last method did not work. I basically created this list from easiest to hardest method. Also make sure to take probiotics to replace good gut bacteria. Antibitotics kill both bad and good bacteria, so you need to replace the good bacteria. Kefir is a very good source of probitoics. Good luck
