Recycling tyres in South Africa; Innovative program transforms old tyres into housing materials 

South Africa has taken an innovative approach to removing the millions of discarded tyres lying around the nation. Two years ago the government introduced a waste tyre management system. As Sumitra Nydoo reports..under the program businesses pay waste management fees, which are then used to recycle the old tyres.
