P.s. Hey guys, can you please share under these comment some new words that appeared in the last years (like, covidiot, covindex, etc)? It also will be nice if there are online articles where these words are used. This will be helpful for my thesis, and I think it’s just fun to discuss the new words that appeared during the COVID time!

Hi there, what about a "covid witness" or a "corona-terorrism" ? First meaning the people who believe everything they see on TV and the other are opressive measures from goverment, lockdowns, free movement restrictions, forcing respirators on people and even children or even forced vaccination like in Israel for example. I hope you cheer up and be happy again as I like to watch your videos and would like to move to Russia.

I remain impressed at your authenticity/sincerity and increasingly your openness and vulnerability. Even though you appeared to perceive the video as negative, I’m sure many/most of us would agree that it takes a great deal of strength to be this open and real. There is a reason so many people have been drawn to your uploads - part of it is the subject matter, but much of it is because of you and getting to see the world from the filter of your life and personality. Amazing person, amazing youtuber.

Hey Natalie. I am a Turkish physician who came to United States in July 2020 for a research fellowship and the last 3-4 minutes of this video is exactly how I felt almost since then. I was having a very bad day with procrastination, lack of sense of self and depression and watching this video made me feel less alone. The way you said ''I failed everything'' pierced my heart and I completely understood where you're coming from. I discovered your videos 2 days ago and I am close to watching it all. I cant thank you enough for what you do. I am 25 so close-ish to your age and I agree with your other supporters that these feelings are only natural. We are not robots. We are living breathing beings with needs and desires in life. Sometimes our academic and career pursuits dont necessarily align with that.. Hope you've made some progress since this video. If not, please be kind to yourself. We'll be here if you need anything.

Natasha, I love the realness of your videos, and your willingness to show your vulnerability. You are able to find enjoyment in the brokenness of your surroundings, twisted fence, graffiti, old worn buildings and scarry houses. Then the sharing of your failure resonates because we all fail. Your struggle to achieve objectives that at first feel oppressive, to then later realize those efforts have helped you learn something, especially to learn something about yourself, rings true to us. Thank you for sharing.

I agree. It is a good sign that she feels her feelings. I think press through, get it done and put it behind you. I am in my 40s and this is what I wish I had done. It would have helped me a great deal to see that this is how other people actually feel about their studies from time to time. I looked around and everyone seemed blissed out on life while I struggled, so I thought I needed to quit. Maybe they just all took drugs. Who knows? @bogeeman 3 года назад
@Nastro Adhesivo People like you really think the whole world is centered to them and you Own the Truth. You don't like her videos, so it must be "silly". You don't apparently don't realize she's doing something else than video (thesis, studies, etc), so she is not "working seriously". Maybe she was going though things she did not explain in the videos. Maybe you don't know everything about her. Maybe her videos are helping other people. Maybe people like her publicly opening up to a simple "I'm not ok." is a life saver to people who will be afraid to even acknowledge their own burn-out or tiredness. Just because "making vlog" isn't "serious work" in your own universe, does not mean it's not. Just because this content is not for you, does not mean it's not for anyone else. One thing for sure tho, attitude and comments like yours are definitely not a good contribution to society.

@Nastro Adhesivo When I was 12- I was a bit like you - thinking winding people up was fun at school - one kid got mad and tried to stab me with a compass , another tried to hit me over the head with a chair - none of those physical threats worried me - I loved having school fights - What worried me was I genuinely upset people - I thought it was all fun and games . Now I try to mostly say nice things or nothing at all - unless I'm in my car alone - and scream at other drivers - move it grandma it's not Sunday !( even better if it's Sunday )- I'm a pretty happy person - never had depression or mental health problems - but I do know at least 30% of the world do - That a lot of people finding life tough. So now I more likely find a way to be kind - I do like winding people up a bit - but mainly friends/family who know me . This Vblog here is very interesting to me and many others - not sure how you were pestered - hopefully you can find some happiness too

I do recycle, but it seems futile. Lots of recyclable material, even put in recycle bins, in the states goes into landfills anyway. The situation is a bit better in Europe, but much worse in Russia. The key is stop producing less packaged products at first place. The world produces too much trash these days. Recycling is very polluting process as well.

@user-jj1bp3es3j

@@penwithoutasword9459 According to some course I took via IFP Europe recycles only 29% of recyclable materials. And this is where recycling is at its best. Russia recycles far less than 1%. Besides there is nothing environmentally good in most recycling processes. In old days in the USSR and probably everywhere there were standards for glass containers and they could be recycled for reuse, not as shattered glass for recreating them. You would get paid for turning them in. People were collecting paper and put it for recycle getting books as a compensation. Almost no plastic packaging in the stores. No plastic bags in the stores for packaging. People washed and used plastic bags for many times usage. You go to forests those days, and they are clean. Now people dump everything there. In other countries, situation much worse... Mumbai beaches totally covered with trash. So, recycling is good, but it cannot efficiently fight overapackaging, people culture of not caring, and the recycling processes anyway pollute the atmosphere.

Natasha, hang in there. You got this. I can relate to the feeling of letting myself down and the general sadness of my downfalls. I took a long time getting my driver's license, failed many university classes, and didn't achieve many things I set out to do. Failing is essential. Eventually, success comes to those who keep failing better. What has worked for me is planning as much as possible in advance and just mindlessly following it (and adjusting on the go). It has helped immensely in sticking to my long term goals when I just need to do what my past self wrote down. University sometimes is very draining. Trust your process, and the results follow! There is hope in dreaming about a better future. Sometimes, dreaming leads to avenues and opportunities you did not think were possible, which will enable you to grow in unexpected ways. Enjoy the little detours of life 'cause that's what it is about.

Sorry you're feeling depressed. It does sound like you need to get after that thesis though. Yes? The best encouragement I can give you from as far away as Texas is to remember that the hardest part of writing formal papers, like your thesis, is just getting started. Once you're well into it, the thoughts and words will come because your focus will be greater and you have something in front of you to show for all of your work. First only a few pages, then more, then you'll be at 40 and then 50 and 60. It's hard to get started sometimes, but one you make that effort, you'll surprise yourself that it wasn't as bad to do as you had believed. I say all of this as a retired professor, so I hope you can trust my advice and just get started. Very best of luck to you!

Here is a quote from Stephen King, the author: “Once you know what has to be done, it's better to do it than to live with the fear of it.” I know exactly how you are feeling. Been there many times myself. I promise you this. Just start working on the paper. Once you start working, you’ll feel better. And the more you work, the better you’ll feel. It’s hard to get out of a depressive, anxious funk. But the cure, and I promise this is a cure, is actually to just start doing the work. And it’s super easier to say than it is to do, but I promise that when you start the work, you’ll start to feel better.

Natasha, I understand you perfectly. When we are in the process of presenting our last exams and thesis to obtain our academic degrees, we students feel a lot of stress and anguish, that is completely normal. I became a business manager in 2009 and could not sleep well the days before, I cried many times and even failed my exam to obtain my academic degree, because the examining committee did not approve my thesis presentation and final oral exam. Thank God there was a second chance to do everything and that was a great opportunity to demonstrate my knowledge ... the secret is to overcome fears, work and study hard to get there in the best way. Hopefully my comment helps you, after all this process you will be very relieved, proud and you will understand the people who were evaluating you as a student. Another important thing is that you should work in another country that loves people's freedoms as much as you do ... I think that Russia is very repressive for you. Bye.

I'm helping some friends at the moment with their driving exams and a big item they found confusing was giving way to pedestrians and cyclists, ect. I explained that as a driver of a large vehicle, you must be prepared at all times to avoid hazards, especially unpredictable ones. So although other cars follow specific road rules, they don't apply to pedestrians, so in that way they are considered hazards you need to avoid.

I would like to help you understand the impact you have had, with this channel. You are amazing. You have accomplished so much in your life, at such a young age! Like many people, I first found you through your “Life in a small town..”. You have 2.5M views! Do you realize how amazing that is? You and I are so completely different people in every way...but somehow...you have been able to reach, inspire, educate and communicate with a 56 year old Black man, living 5,685 miles away, in a suburb of Phoenix, AZ! You must take a step back and appreciate how amazing that is. Your thesis is just a “moment in time”. Lean in, write it, hand it in...and let that moment pass. Your whole life awaits you. I’m looking forward to seeing your videos and adventures for a long time.

The first video of yours that I watched was “My House”. I don’t remember how I ran across your channel but I was intrigued, to say the least. Someone who grew up in eastern Russia is going to take me inside the house where she grew up and show me around? Fascinating!! I remember your cat and how much your home and country, half a world away, was not so different from the places that I grew up in. Ohio and Virginia, USA, by the way. I can understand why you might have had reasons to take that one down, but I’d REALLY love to see that one again, if possible. I also remember being twenty, twenty-one and twenty-two years old and knowing what I wanted in life, but not knowing how to go about getting it. I think nearly everyone can relate to that. I’m trying to say that you’re very talented and intelligent with a wonderful sense of humor and everything will fall into place if you persevere and don’t let anyone or anything deter you or tell you that what you want isn’t possible. Those folks just didn’t try hard enough or believed the people who told them that what they were trying to achieve wasn’t possible. Natasha rocks!!!
