Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 is a real-time strategy video game by Westwood Pacific, which was released for Microsoft Windows on October 23, 2000 as the follow-up to Command & Conquer: Red Alert. Red Alert 2 picks up at the conclusion of the Allied campaign of the first game. Its expansion is Command & Conquer: Yuri's Revenge.
Command and Conquer: Red Alert 2 contains two playable factions, the Soviets and the Allies, which both previously appeared in Command & Conquer: Red Alert. The single player campaign is structured in an alternate-ending mode as opposed to a progressive story mode. Red Alert 2 was a commercial and critical success, receiving an 86% from GameRankings.

anyone know the deal with this map? sometimes you get random technology. Is there an order to it? i noticed this video there's no random extra tech

When I was still studying I used to play RA2 and Yuri' Revenge during Fridays and Saturdays, local PVP only. If the map is huge there would super weapons but if not there no super weapons. We're always six players just for fun. My team are America, Great Britian, Iraq and Russia

Sounds like lots of fun. I mostly played the campaigns again and again, wasn't too much for skirmish oddly enough. But i also didn't really have friends to play with

@@jcdenton2187 That was before until we all graduate. Still I play this game with my brother and sister on the Net Cafe that is just a walk to out home or one on one at home with laptop and PC via a local modem, but occasionally not often when we are all at home

@@ravenralph123 That sounds so awesome. I need to reinstall it and get it running on Windows 10. Then see about getting it to play online, even though I'm sure I'll get my ass kicked. Maybe we could play

@@jcdenton2187 Add a mod Yuri's Revenge and try playing it. Where Yuri has more anti air and air units and underwater as well. Then Soviet countries have a Radar with a land pad to one plane and cosmonaut and Trex are available. While Allies have special units unlocked from the story.
